do you like wienerschnitzel

Nope. It's medallions of thinly sliced pork or veal pan fried with lemon.

Down south we call that a "chicken-fried pork cutlet."

Goes good with mashed taters, gravy, corn on the cob, and fried okra.

Yee haw!

I could never get into okra.

And as for collard greens; what are they?

Most people don't know how to cook collards. Only buy them in the winter when they are sweet. Cook 40 minutes in water with a lean porkchop, a teaspoon of sugar and salt plus one pickled hot pepper.

Frankfurter sauce is a famous German sauce, eaten in spring, mostly around Easter. Many people have it on Green Thursday before Easter, but we tend to have it later on in spring when the herbs in my garden are finally there again.

I like cucumbers better.

They're collard greens, I guess. Like mustard or turnip greens, but milder.

Poke salad greens are pretty good too, but you have to cook then throw away the water. And don't eat the berries, their poisonous.
