  • i am no member of a church

  • i am a member of some other religious movement

Results are only viewable after voting.
That is certainly unique as there are only 36 million registered Republican voters, and less than forty percent of these are fundamental Evangelicals who may or may not hold such a belief.
That's an interesting detail, but not an answer to the question.

Jews do not teach they are God's "favorites". They teach they were chosen for a specific task, they were chosen to be a people set apart from others.

Another interesting tidbit, but the question was
What is the unique reason 50 million Republican Party Christian voters believe that Jewish people are God’s chosen prople?

I don't think the debate is over the term "Chosen People." It appears some believe--for whatever reason(s)--"Chosen" means "favorite" when it does not.

My Question was;

What is the unique reason 50 million Republican Party Christian voters believe that Jewish people are God’s chosen people?
There were 77 Million Republican Party voters for Trump, the last time Americans voted for a President.

70 percent of them identify as Christians.

I find it reasonable to add ten million Christians to the forty million Christians who vote Republican from the ranks of Protestants and Catholic snd who make up the totality of the “pro chosen” nationalism of the religious right.

Yes St.Meri the question still is “What is the unique reason 50 million Republican Party Christian voters believe that Jewish people are God’s chosen prople?”

The Old Testament is actually about the Old Covenant between the people of Israel and the Ancient War and Weather God known as YAHWEY. The New Testament is about. The New Covenant between YAHWEY and the Body of Christ known as the Catholic Church and all it parishioners

A Covenant is a Contract binding one to another.

When the Pilgrims identified themselves as a new Israel in covenant with God, they believed they were chosen by God for a special purpose in the New World, similar to how the ancient Israelites were chosen to inherit the Promised Land

In 1620 the Pilgrims believed they were chosen by God to spread Christianity to the New World.

So tell me St.Meri truthfully that you believe YAHWEY did not favor the white European man holding a blunderbuss over the indigenous man holding a bow?

To the early Christian settlers of the Colony of Massachusetts Bay the only way the savages who lived off the land there for over 10,000 years needed to be converted to the personal belief that Jesus Christ was their Savior for the sin of Adam and Eve

Republican Christian Nationalist Cheryl K Chumley mentions the covenant here as she explains what white Republican Christian nationalism is:

As I noted earlier, there is no debate that Jews are God's chosen people. The correction is that 'chosen' is not a synonym for 'favorite'.

When mankind gets something wrong, do you believe God can bring good out of what went wrong? And, Yes, God chose Christians to proclaim the good news. I don't recall anything was said about holding a blunderbuss.

But those devout sincere people did hold several blunderbusses thinking they were doing god's will. A compassionate loving god would have said hold on a minute there.

That is certainly news to me, and probably a lot of Christians I know.
In Jewish tradition, the Israelites were chosen by God to receive and follow His laws, particularly the Law of Moses. This selection, however, is not about inherent superiority, but about a covenant relationship with God, involving specific obligations and a responsibility to be a "light to the nations".

A covenant is an agreement. Any "covenant relationship" takes two baby!

So, from all indications, these Israelites didn't get to vote on it at all. "God" just got "Moses" to beat (coerce) all these "chosen" into submission with threats and massive stone "commandments."

Doesn't seem like a very mentally healthy "relationship." Mostly seems like self-inflicted abuse. Pretty amoral stuff.

Do you believe that all behaviors lead to equal outcomes?

my dog Bella and I have a covenant relationship where I am her God and she is my creature.

Our covenant says if Bella does not shit and pee in my house, I will take her for a long walk twice a day and provide food and water and a comfortable place to sleep for as long as she may live.

St.Ding is apparently in the same type of covenant relationship with an ancient WarGod named Yahweh.

There is a distinction of differences between Bella and St.Ding !

When Bella goes around the neighborhood and communicates with other dogs, I do not insist that all the other dogs must disobey their Owners and move into my house.

St.Ding’s irrational relationship with Yahweh has helped white Christian nationalists to enact, using federal power of force without due process, the white Christian Project 2025 thus making white Christian nationalism a real threat to Jeffersonian Republicanism

These dogs want all dogs in America to worship one master …~… Through Donald J Trump, then Jesus then Yahweh.

Agree.

Of course not. Wtf?

Are people still holding blunderbusses? It appears the the idea of "Hold on a minute" got through.

The Mosaic covenant was that the Hebrews would be freed from slavery and become God's possession. All those who chose to be freed from Egypt and to turn to God, fled with Moses and were freed. Then while Moses was away, they broke the Covenant, returned to the ways of Egypt whom they were fleeing. Throughout Exodus we see this--those who were freed from slavery wishing to return to slavery, usually because there were better eats in Egypt and life was hard in the wilderness.
