That's not the question asked in the OP. But I do agree that the Biden would be better off, and so would the US, if we did not allow people claiming amnesty to stay here while their applications are processed. A small minority of those people will actually fit the amnesty requirements, and staying in their "native land" would not be in their interest, to put it mildly. But, imo, we should put Americans' interests first. We will NEVER actually deport 12 million people because ... we need them.
