Do All Republicans Have to Think Alike?

Generally speaking Republicans share the same views on most things just as Democrats do and again generally speaking can disagree on some things without it getting nasty. But both parties have their extremes who will attack anyone who doesn’t blindly agree with them.

I am not a sheep. I repeat if I ever find a democrat worth voting for I'll turn Independent in a heartbeat but so far it hasn't happened yet.

Just something that I was just thinking about. Not all democrats think alike as some are progressive and some are moderate so why do all Republicans have to think the same or suddenly they're not Republicans so why is that?

I would say that I'm a moderate Republican just like there are moderate Democrats although I tend to be far right leaning on some issues but not so far right that I hate all Democrats as like I was saying in another thread on here that it just depends on how progressive you are.

The reason that I bring this up as I've been having a few disagreements with some Republicans on here lately because of my suggestions of how to restore peace in this country. I've been constantly accused of wanting to abolish the first and second amendment which I actually don't have it on record of me saying but that's not what this is this thread is about.

For I thought that Republicans were supposed to agree to disagree with each other peacefully like Charlie Kirk often welcomed but I've often been looked at as a traitor for having different views so why are Republicans getting angry at Democrats that they often can't have civil discussions when Republicans are guilty of that too?

Especially when all of my brainstorm ideas have been about how to stop the crazies from getting ahold of guns and prevent another assassination from happening like it happened on September 10th?

This isn't to call anybody out it's just a question. However I really respect BackAgain for his comment about how Republicans generally to agree to disagree without hatred as he's the one who inspired this thread, but unfortunately he's in the minority around here right now.
I would imagine there are Pubs that are into groupthink(cult mentality) for sure just as there are groupthinkers within the Dem party. Ideologies generally start off somewhat centered then spread out to encompass both the mild to wild. The current hostility between Pubs/Dems has unfortunately spilled over into the "NO-GO ZONE" of power & control(god complex). We should have arrived @ fortifying our Constitution/B.O.R. for the INDIVIDUAL as set out by our founding fathers(where I am at currently). The statist left, again unfortunately, drifted off into the cult of marxism which is based upon conflict for the sake of conflict(the end of the humanity). With no options left it's now a fight to the death with only one of the two ideologies surviving.

Elected republicans should support the republican agenda but there are pro abortion factions in the republican party and there is a political give and take that is constant with the political process in the GOP. Why pick on republicans when the democrat party clearly operates in lock step with the democrat leadership? Try to find a democrat who isn't forced to support abortion on demand regardless of his/her moral beliefs. The republican party is a big tent.

I argue with Americans all the time.

One thing you will never see is 2 WEF/ Democrat shillbots argue or disagree.

A simple answer to your question would be "no."

Diversity of thought is a pillar of conservatism, or it's supposed to be.

I have never had a background check or fingerprints to buy a weapon. Where does this occur? I don't think you understand what a background check entails and there is no requirement that I am aware of for fingerprinting.

I have had background checks and fingerprinting for teaching positions and they take weeks.

I suggest you learn what a background check is and no one is talking about concealed carry, you ******* moron. FUVM!

A lot of MAGA today is actually ex-democrats who hate what the democrap party has become. Like me. I prefer MAGA politics but I am still pro-abortion, would actually prefer UHC, and believe in reasonable social safety nets. I am certainly not alone. OTOH, the democrap party has abandoned all their individuality and most of the old platforms, like UHC, taming the predatory corporations, etc.

I am anti-abortion but pro-exceptions.
Thank God you are not a democrap, there is a long list of issues that you have to vehemently support, and something like being anti-abortion gets you immediately kicked out of the club. The democraps require strict conformity while they preach about tolerance and diversity.

I suggest you learn reading comprehension and grasp the concept that local and state laws on firearms purchase and ownership vary significantly and are often more constrictive than what the Second Amendment to the Constitution prescribes.

As for concealed carry, it is very similar to the laws in some parts of our country where one has to have a special license/permit to even legally purchase/own a firearm.

Try getting out of your cave once in a while you troglodyte.

Interesting... How do you feel about banning the mentally ill from getting weapons and being able to shoot anybody that threatens you even if it's just verbally? As I'm starting to like that more than limiting some forms of speech as The Irish Ram recently pointed out.

you seem to be dodging the fact that donny let nutters get guns. say how you think it's hogwash yet again.

All democrats think 100% alike and there is no tolerance for diversity.

As far as the states go, we were not discussing your state, you self-centered ass. Many states do not even have concealed carry licenses anymore. In my state, I can carry anytime I want. Perhaps it is your state that is a collection of troglodytes. That is why we were discussing national laws, which on concealed carry do not even exist.

So what is it about Democrat party, which would protect right to choose and social safety nets, made you de-facto vote for abolishing Roe vs. Wade and defunding social safety nets to fund tax cuts for the wealthy?
