RNC delegate allocation for Cleveland, 2016: first estimates

The Green Papers has come up with the first (and likely, very, very accurate) estimates of the CNC delegate allotment for 2016:

The Green Papers What s New

It looks like the Democratic National Convention will have 4,483 delegates, the magic number for the nomination being: 2,242.

In 2012, there were 5,554 Democratic delegates.

The first three states (IA, SC, NH) have a combined total of 143 delegates (3.19% of all Democratic delegates). By comparison, the Republican delegates from these states represent 4.50% of that Party's total delegates.
