People today, interested in relationships and marriage all talking about RED FLAGS, yet they IGNORE the biggest red flag of them all.

Divorce is a HUGE, GIGANTIC RED FLAG all on its own.

Divorce means one of them, or both of them don't have a clue how a relationship works, much less do they acknowledge the fact that one or both of them can't be bothered to admit to, or work on problems.....especially extreme narcissism and emotional baggage.

Not something I'd ever do to myself!!! Never get involved with divorced people.

Personally, I'd say it depends on your age. If you're in your 20's, stay away from divorcees. If you're in your 60's, stay away from anyone that hasn't been divorced.

Cheating has something to say about this.
Theoretically, that has a fail-safe mechanism built in. Women who lure married men generally won’t follow through unless the man leaves his wife. The man sees this as too drastic so it prevents the affair.
A woman who lures a man without the added condition of him leaving his wife will appear to be too sleazy to be attractive enough to the man to prompt the affair.

Suppose a dude slips his wedding ring into his pocket, then picks up lonely women, lying that he's a single guy? Or, claims to be separated. How does your "fail-safe mechanism" work then?

Can't argue that.....If you don't have knowledge of the cause then pass them by.

"Well her husband was a drunk".....OK, but did she cause him to be like that?

Those are the type of answers you need to know before proceeding. Credit score is a tell too.

Nobody "causes" another person to be a drunk. Saying someone "drove you to drink", is making excuses. A person can be predisposed to alcoholism due to genetics or family background, but each individual makes a personal decision to solve their problems with the bottle.

Infidelity is what destroys most marriages. And nobody cheats because their wife/husband doesn't understand them either. Again, this is a choice the cheater makes, and it's a completely selfish choice.

I have far more respect for someone who can admit they made a mistake, or that they deserve to be treated better, and walks away, than someone who lives in misery, or accepts being treated badly.

So you’re saying I should limit myself to married people?

Someone that is involved with a married man or woman has someone that cheats and will cheat on you. It would take a monument shift in character to be marriage material. I say this as a person that routinely cheated on every man I was ever with.

I was being facetious!

Trump has been divorced what, 3 times? So there is some truth to the fact that some divorcees are truly crummy people.

In most cases, whether someone is divorced or not has nothing to do with future success or failures in relationships.

Can't you talk about ANYTHING without bringing your TDS into the convo?
