Dinner meal ideas

I am stuck in the proverbial rut as to what to make for supper. Nothing sounds good and nothing new comes to mind........but ya gotta eat every stinking day.

Things we've had lately and/or is often on the menu.........

Asian type dishes.......stir fry/chow mein, almond chicken & gravy, sweet & sour chicken or pork, mongolian beef, curry, won ton soup,
Mexican......tacos every which way imaginable, burritos, enchiladas, one pot shells & beef, sometimes red sometimes green or verde.
meatloaf
swiss steak without tomatoes
salisbury steaks with mushroom onion gravy
Miisissippi pot roast, have also used chicken in place of beef
Italian......spaghetti, chicken parmesan, sausage & peppers, pizza
Breakfast for supper.......eggs benedict, sausage breakfast bowl (sausage, onions, peppers, potatoes, mushrooms and beaten egg cooked together), pancakes, french toast.
Soup & sandwiches

Anybody have any other ideas???

Beyond Meat Vegetarian burgers with plant based cheddar cheese

Meatless lentil soup and salad

Whole wheat spaghetti with with Beyond meat Italian sausage

Vegetable quiche with plant based cheese

Whole wheat pizza with beat sauce, Beyond burger crumbles and tofu

Edit; a family friend maked great meatloaf using stovetop stuffing for the bread crumbs. I want to try that as a stuffing for the peppers.

They used to make a beef STS, I wonder if they still do?

I wanted something different and ate fake crab salad all day!
With some good fresh celery on soft Italian bread.

Totally different diections but, so not to leave anything out.

Ham and beans with fried taters, cornbread, mixed greens

Salmon Patties (might try these in air fryer)

Chicken and rice (chicken breasts cooked in cambells soup and rice cooked separately.

Stuffed Cabbage

Italian Beef hoagies

Shit on a Shingle, creamed beef, gravy over toast

Ramen stirfry, stirfry cabbage, bacon, shredded carrots, onions, celery, cook Romen noodles and sauce, mix it all together at the end.

Chicken liver and onions but add some venison steaks! So good.

Some ideas that we haven't tried in a while but can't wait to have again.

Stuffed Bell Peppers (couple of ideas on how to tweak those)

Homemade lasagna

Homemade Pizza idea from a girl I dated in California - "Shrimp and Cashews!"

I have had chicken and cashew pizza before, different but good.......shrimp??? I do like shrimp, but on pizza??? IDK about that, maybe. I'd have to really think about that one.

Seriously, are you a one-sided meat eater? Have you ever tried making something delightful, tasty and good for you like some baba ghanoush with some fresh tabbouleh salad on the side?

And I don't mean those pasty, bland recipes offered on the internet either, or usually sold in restaurants and supermarkets, I mean the good stuff.

I know it doesn't sound like much, and the internet will tell you it is just an eggplant dip but it is a meal the way I make it, and the salad is basically a parsley salad with cucumber, tomato, lemon, tahini, and other things in it.

If you don't want the bother of roasting eggplants, you can substitute hummus b'tahini instead.

Write me private if you want, and I'll give you recipes.

Gyoza, miso eggplant, and fried rice is on the menu tonight.

You people and your eggplant.....ACK, no thanks. Same for hummus, just no

I just got back from the store......ended up getting some lunchmeat & cheeses and hawaiian rolls for sliders and picked up a green salad with some shrimp & Krab at the deli, a cantaloupe and a box pasta salad too along with just a few other things.....not that much as I wasn't gone that long and it cost over $80........wtf? I hate shopping anymore.

Just wish I could remember if it was red sauce or white. But it was so good. It was at a place called "Pizza Chalet" in San Bernadino

We did just have SOS (burger version) last week.

Ramen stir fry happens often too, but instead of cooking the ramen separate......I crunch it up and toss it in with the meat & veggies (whatever I have at the time) and basically fry it in the oil a bit, then just add a little water and they soak it up. The seasoning packet is added to the mix as well.

Chicken liver??? NOOOOOOO. just a thing I grew up with. I use to like beef liver & onions though, but I can't handle the smell of it anymore

I see you eat alot of fried taters....we do too sometimes. Love em with a plain burger patty (no bun or condiments) and a veg

All great ideas (except maybe the eggplant & chicken liver)

Thank you all......keep em coming.

Octopus goes really well on pizza too.
