Did These Parents Plan to Kill Their Child?

Not exactly the same thing but I could see it happening on accident as it could have happened to me. The other facts about the story lead me to believe this is more likely planned.

I hope you're not saying that you could have forgotten about your children and left them in a car for nine hours. A responsible parent wouldn't leave them there for nine minutes.

Not for 9 hours. More likely 3 hours if the teacher had not called. I always called at my break to see how they were doing in preschool. You can be the most responsible person on the face of the earth and forget something if your mind is occupied.

Anyone who could forget about their children for three hours has no business being a parent.

What amuses me in these cases is the people ok with killing babies inside the womb freak out when it happens outside the womb. Babies have been born premature countless times, just because it's still inside the womb doesn't mean it isn't a baby. If killing them then is "ok" then logically so must killing them outside.

Oh please. Can't we have even one thread that you nutters don't hijack and morph into an abortion thread?

If you want to yatter on about abortion, just start a new thread.

I google EVERYTHING. No lie. If I read a story. I google facts that made up that story. And if it is something that concerns my child I google on how to prevent it or things that cause it. Such as, if you dont normally drop off your child in the morning, what tricks can be done (leaving breifcase or cell phone in the back seat). ...how hot outside = how hot inside. I can see how a google search can be done on topics like this...but the fact that a search was done and it still happened. Fishy.

(I have appointed someone to fry my laptop if I ever die...that way no one thinks I am a neo-nazi..porn watching, conspiracy theorist by the searches I have done in my quest to understand some ways of thinking)

Hearing the news right now - apparently both parent's computers were used to look up baby deaths in hot cars. If they read very much, they would have learned that it would be a truly horrible and painful way to die - like being cooked alive.

I don't even want to consider that they planned this together.

Too late. I have 4 of them.

It's not too late, you can still prevent unnecessary deaths due to negligence.

I dont buy the guy forgetting to drop off and pick up his child. I could see one but not both.

How does one do that when your mind is otherwise occupied?

I can't help you with that. Can you multitask? Most people do.

There are periods of time you are not multitasking. Everyone has those time periods. Its called focusing. You should have a solution to this instead of just claiming someone is a bad parent without any knowledge of the circumstances.

Of course it was a plot to kill the child. My guess, they are Teapers and couldn't imagine letting their kids live under the tyranny of the evil government!

I could never understand how someone could make a joke or try to score political points over a tragic story like this. Sucks to be you.

What could possibly be important enough to capture your focus so intently that you might neglect your children for hours at a time?

I think you missed the circumstances somehow. I was driving to work and dropping off my children at preschool. I was thinking about a problem at work and drove straight to work instead. Thats not neglecting them for hours.

Not really. And what I say is probably true.

My mistake, I thought you were trying to justify mitigating circumstance for these two murderers.
