Did Brett Kavanaugh really uphold Obamacare's individual mandate? Sam Baker at Axios says he did not:

Brett Kavanaugh's ACA rulings

One of Kavanaugh's former clerks says the same thing--that Kavanaugh did not uphold the individual mandate and that he in fact criticized Obamacare (Affordable Care Act/ACA):

Brett Kavanaugh Said Obamacare Was Unprecedented And Unlawful

From all appearances, Kavanaugh looks to be a solidly conservative judge--perhaps not quite as conservative as Amy Barrett, but certainly to the right of Anthony Kennedy, the justice whom he's replacing:

Brett Kavanaugh Is a Great Pick: A Reply to David French | National Review

Who cares about sides? A good judge should be impartial.
Thats the problem with partisan hacks. RIGHT RIGHT RIGHT LEFT LEFT LEFT

Time will tell, Mike, but I think Kavanaugh will defer to Roberts on ACA.

Kavanaugh is a very strong supporter of the second Amendment, which is a good thing.

It's all distinction without difference. Every household it taxed to provide HC, and if they bought HC insurance, they get a credit. Or there's no penalty for not buying HC unless you try to buy HC after you're sick, and if you have no insurance you can't discharge medical bills in bankruptcy.

There were a dozen ways to skin that cat, and Roberts just manned up.

Roberts has been conservative on the vast majority of issues

Really?

He "found" a "right" of the government to FORCE Americans to buy overpriced government rigged "health insurance."

He is "conservative" to those who don't understand the meaning of the word "conservative."

Other than that one ruling, he has been very reliably conservative: Citizens United, gay wedding cakes, affirmative action, pro-life pregnancy centers, labor union dues for non-members, the DC handgun ban, etc., etc.

Compared to what Hillary would have put on the SC, he's a "conservative."

Some people don't understand the meaning of "scum-sucking leftist."

"nd if they bought HC insurance, they get a credit"

Of the thousands I wrote NOBODY took the credit, they took the subsidy.

Everyone in this country is more conservative than Huma Abedin

and that "proves" W was "conservative," even as he socialized senior drugs (by lying about the cost) and outspent, outporked, and outsocialized LBJ...

I'll allow that. GW did fit the description of a "conservative" for that particular point in time, but the description has changed since then.

Just as the Democrats have changed from "liberal" to "socialist" to "communist." over the years.
