Great band, great social commentary, great hooks. Too bad most people think they're a joke or only know them for 'Whip It' (which is a great song).

I saw them a few years ago, backing Deborah Harry (Blondie).

Their act blew hers out of the water. Harry had some drama-queen guitar player in her band. He was an idiot.

Devo were not exactly men, but they were DEVO.

The Freedom of Choice album these three are from is really unbelievable. :bow3:

Blondie and this album Autoamerican too. :bow3:

No I remember them from their earlier days covering the Stones '(I Can' t Get No)SATISFACTION.
I think Drexel or Temple College radio was the first time I heard them before Mainstream radio or MTV.

I can't stand Van Halen and that incessant screeching from DLR. In 1978 Led Zeppelin, Black Sabbath and Aerosmith were realeasing some of their worst work. Stones released Some Girls which was a good album but no where as good as their classic period of 66-73.
