Is the unwritten foreign policy one of destabilization?

As we see the US withdraw from the mess they created in Libya and Iraq, one has to wonder.

US evacuates embassy in Libya amid clashes

Don't forget, Obama wanted to do the same thing in Syria. Could it be that the US simply wants to destabilize Muslim countries in order to create a killing field of sorts? Is it a way to get undesirables to kill each other off?

Perhaps the only thing that saved Syria was that it was already a killing field.

I believe that the main goal is to get the Muslims to kill each other..why not?

Obama pulled back before he dropped Assad.

We've pulled this shit in Iran, Iraq, and Libya.

The same thing happens every time.

Perhaps the reason Syria was spared was that there was enough killing there already.

Just wait till they pull out of Afghanistan. You ain't seen noth'in yet!

I know, it will be ugly.

Staying out of there and energy independence here.

The plan is to win Central Asia from the Chinese and the Russians and keep them disconnected. That's the only thing this is about. The reliance on the petrodollar is also a factor in this discussion.

Most importantly, the downed airliner was the best thing since 9-11 that could happen to the foreign policy neocons advising Herr Obama.

Hell ya---they jumped all over it like a duck on a June bug. Finally got to drag out those
Putin is a bad guy signs that they've been stocking up on.

Could back fire, especially on the EU. Russia's extremely low national debt combined with their proven 'siege mentality' will make things interesting.

The EU might be praying for some global warming for this next winter.

National Debt as Per Cent of GDP:

United Kingdom - 97.3%
France - 96.1%
Germany - 84.4%
Russia - 8.1%

In 2013, almost 70% of Russias total export revenues was in oil and natural gas. Unless EU sanctions are very, very harsh; Russia should be able to weather what the EU dishes up.
Hopefully, Peach doesn't read this, as she will be very, very disappointed.

Better get your hero to pumpin'...he's a dry hole so far.

That's why we are at our best on this issue in almost sixty years?

Do you actually read material to be informed or to simply post propaganda you don't get.

Thank North Dakota, not your Black Prez.

You can make but not win the argument. Otherwise, you would give us the evidence since we both agree that our energy is in the best shape in sixty years.

You can't.

“Texas and North Dakota now account for almost half of total U.S. oil production,” said EIA Administrator Adam Sieminski, noting Texas’ monthly oil output recently topped 3 million barrels per day for the first time since 1977 and North Dakota’s oil production hit a record 1 million
