There the court agreed with the plaintiffs and ruled that section 90 of the Florida voting law was unconstitutional. It enjoined Florida from enforcing it. The decision did NOT authorize Federal monitoring in Florida of any polling places or voting tabulation locations.
Therefore, there appears to be absolutely NO legal authority for the DOJ to place monitors in such places ANYWHERE in the State of Florida.
