I live in Florida and the only problem we had was all the New York shit coming in and infecting the state.

That accounted for most of our Covid infections.

DeSantis did a great job in balancing the economy with health concerns. That kept my sons employed and my grandkids in schools. He also did the right thing with vaccine distribution with giving it to the most at risk first even though it went against the dumbass CDC guidelines. The idiots at the CDC wanted to give it to healthy teachers and fireman before giving it to 74 year old Seniors. How dumb was that?

By the way, both of my sons and both my daughters in laws and grandkids had the Covid here in Florida. It was no big deal for any of them. Not worth shutting down the economy over.
