Deranger/Deformer: Modern Monsters!

Here's a blurb about modern leviathan relevant to the intellectualism (and sarcasm!) of our consumerism-paranoia 'TrumpUSA.'

Is our First Lady (Melania Trump) more rightfully-worried about modernism sins than our President?

We would want President Trump to be socially conscious, given his capitalism/commerce background (e.g., Trump Taj Mahal). We don't want a 'token media' President who simply makes another gluttony-system like our last celeb-prez Ronald Reagan (i.e., Reaganomics).

Duke, Snake-Eyes, and Shipwreck were analyzing two modern age 'ghouls' genetically-engineered by the super-terrorist organization Cobra --- Deranger and Deformer.

Deranger: a mind-control tyrant who could warp social sensibilities (and hence 'derange' someone's mind) regarding teamwork using pirate broadcast signals meant to destabilize communication protocols on the Internet

Deformer: an emotion corruptor who literally deformed a person's brain-body chemistry by inducing panic regarding the challenges of labor as it related to governance (e.g., European Union) with graphic violence

DUKE: Both these 'modern monsters' are terrorists...
SNAKE-EYES: Nobody wants to be their victim!
SHIPWRECK: Sounds like an episode of The X-Files...

DUKE: Actually, we should create a publicity-podium to assess the criminal psychology aspects of these two.
SNAKE-EYES: Yes, it would be like Arkham Asylum (DC Comics)...
SHIPWRECK: I'd rather market a video-game kids could get immersed in (like a Smithsonian exhibit)!

President Trump sanctioned Duke and his team of patriotic 'G.I. Joes' to contract a special video-game for the Xbox (Microsoft) in which youngsters/players could engage these 'terrorist oddities' and start to feel more comfortable about the humanoid threats and metaphysical destabilizers of the new age network-based 'globalization system.' Even the First Lady (Melania Trump) started feeling more comfortable about the presence of Deranger/Deformer and purchased a box of the new Xbox games for a youth center in Washington, D.C.!

Sunni-Shia (Swamp Thing)

Here's a tale about modern monsters told through the lens of industrialization related eco-pollution disagreements regarding the Sunni-Shia conflict, a symbolic religion-culture based complication with modern globalization politics related impact.

Damon was an agent working for the CIA trying to negotiate a renewable energy (wind farms) contract based peace treaty between Sunni Muslim dominated Syria and Shia Muslim dominated Iran. Syria and Iran were both invested in building power-plants what would complement the work of OPEC. Both nations were guilty of various levels of industrialization-related eco-pollution and America wanted to forge profitable and beneficial long-term renewable energy deals with both Syria and Iran to create commerce-based peaceful political relations. The initiative was coordinated and sanctioned by the heavily-criticized Trump Administration. President Trump was 'nudged' to motivate the deal by his eco-conscious wife, the First Lady Melania Trump.

Meanwhile, in a swamp somewhere between Syria and Iran, a strange mutation occurred. A power-plant worker named Ali was exposed to some terrible toxic waste when he fell unconscious in a muddy pond in a swamp while very drunk. When he awoke, he discovered the fluid toxic waste had seeped through the pores of his skin and turned him into a bizarre mutated monstrous freak. Ali managed to skulk back to civilization and darted to a mosque where he asked a Muslim cleric about his physical (and spiritual!) condition. The cleric told him that he had become a modernism-omen symbol of industrialization excesses --- The Swamp Thing! Ali realized he had to serve as a spiritual messenger to Sunni-Shia relations in the modern world, and he remembered an important eco-consciousness address delivered by American First Lady Melania Trump who suggested that eco-activism could heal political insanity.

Swamp Thing decided to lash out against society in rage and anger and attacked two separate power-plants (in Syria and Iran), hurling balls of radioactive swamp-sludge at large chemical barrels and causing terrible ground-leaks which drew international attention. Damon was informed by the CIA of the rise of this awesomely eerie creature and that he would need to negotiate an important political solution between Syria and Iran, since America was concerned about eco-minded renewable energy initiatives. Damon decided to arrange a meeting between ministers in Syria and Iran, and at the meeting he advised the diplomats that they should accept America's help in dealing with The Swamp Thing and find an efficient resolution to this terrible 'omen-monster' scenario, and they agreed! Damon would win the Nobel Peace Prize, but The Swamp Thing went on to become a modern 'dystopian martyr.'
