I see this sentiment here every single day. The nature of the US today is that mainly because of trump and maga, a narrative has developed (some time before 2016) that reduces US politics to a spectator sports game, a "goodies" vs "baddies" struggle.

With that theme now unquestioned and fully embraced by maga, everything that the administration does can be instantly justified.

No matter what the administration does it is inherently right because it must oppose these dire threats, any resistance at all is deemed to be illegitimate.

Everything that is taking place under this administration be it domestic or overseas is by definition "right" and "good" and "moral" and no republican ever doubts, ever sees through this false narrative.

Sooner or later most republicans will wake up but it will be too late by then and even you will have no ability to resist, by your own actions you are enabling and encouraging the dissolution of your own freedoms.
