It sucks that you are a minority in your own Home Town. But you're not going to change it. The only constituency the dimocrap scum party has left is the Hard Left, the Radical Left. communists, Anti-Semites, America-Haters. All of whom are powered and funded by the Radical Rich.

You want to do something about the politics in what used to be the most important city in the world, but is now a joke? Do something about your Radical Rich.

All your Columbia, Hawvawd, Elite College Radicals. People who are convinced they are smarter and better than the Great Unwashed masses.

Do something about them and you might have a chance.

But -- You can't. Your City, your people, have been warned about them for the last 80 years and you (I don't mean 'you' personally, I mean a collective 'you' in the City's political landscape) did nothing. You allowed them to take over.

New York will survive. It will become less important. It will become something of a bad joke. But it will survive. The question is --

will you? And even more important -- At what Price?

I would tell you to just simply move. While you can. Not to Florida. Too expensive, too crowded, too many Big City Expats. But.... Somewhere. And I don't mean to Connecticut or some other suburban crapfest of New Yawk. I mean out of the whole area. The Entire Northeastern Corridor. The Carolinas, Tennessee are popular but look around. Shop around. Be careful. If you have an 'Anchor' somewhere, that helps but it isn't all that necessary. I think you will find that Americans in "Flyover Country" are the nicest people you've ever known.

The important thing is -- Get out. It's only going to get worse. And more importantly -- There's nothing you can do about it.
