Dennis Kucinich: With Ed FitzGerald’s campaign for governor looking weaker by the day, Dennis Kucinich will attempt a “Last Hurrah” run for the Democratic nomination. This makes perfect sense since the old warrior lives to run and needs something to keep his leggy wife excited.

Also, his lack of concern for the state’s Democratic establishment (and its unwise, hasty backing of Fitz) enables him to buck them with glee. And, truth be told, a Kucinich candidacy is the only possible thing that could make the gubernatorial contest interesting, especially since – barring an Act of God – no one can beat Kasich.

2014 Predictions for the Browns, Kucinich, the Skywalk & More | Cleveland Leader

This is the first I'm hearing about it, and it's certainly intriguing. Unfortunately I wouldn't be able to support Kucinich considering the only issue I'm aware of that we would have any level of agreement on would be foreign policy, which would be completely irrelevant in a Gubernatorial race.

I don't think an act of God would be necessary. Just an act of prostitution, or pedophilia. Or both.

I got to admit that I live in Ohio. And that I didn't and wouldn't vote for Kasich. But would I vote for Dennis?
Yea, knowing me I would. I voted for Ross Perot also.

I would vote for any populist. And Dennis is as close as Im gonna see unless I move to Vermont to vote for Bernie Sanders. Maybe Elizabeth Warren if I moved to Mass.

SO Go Dennis Go.

I won't vote for either.

Indeed! My endorsements are much sought after! Didn't ya know that?

Yes, I'm sure Kucinich will strongly court the Nazi vote.

Thing is, I'm convinced that once he turned and saw what was following him, Ron Paul promptly retired.
When Kucinich turns and sees the National Socialist types, he too might quit politics. :D

If that were the case he wouldn't have started Campaign for Liberty, Young Americans for Liberty, Ron Paul Channel, Ron Paul Institute for Peace and Prosperity, or the Ron Paul home school curriculum.

To be fair to Kucinich, I doubt there are that many nazis interested in his candidacy for Governor. Our dear friend NS seems once again to be confused.

Doubtful.

Not confused. I am very much so Socialist. I am a Social Nationalist. What the NSDAP was supposed to be! I was pulling for Kucinich in 2008 when he was in the early running for the democratic nomination for president. I don't like ALL his ideas but a good bit of them I do.

We are talking "Dennis the Menace" Kucinich ? The guy who was ranked the 7th worst mayor in U.S. History and had a contract taken out on his life ?

I am sure he'll chew Kasich up. :eusa_angel::eusa_angel:

Well he'd have to win the Democratic primary first, which wouldn't be a guarantee. While it looks like some people might be interested in getting rid of Ed Fitzgerald as the likely nominee it doesn't seem all that certain that anybody else could do much better against Kasich. Kucinich would have name recognition, but that may not be a positive in this case.

In 2008, Kucinich introduced articles of impeachment in the House of Representatives against President George W. Bush for the invasion and occupation of Iraq.[34]

Kucinich voted against the USA PATRIOT Act, against the Military Commissions Act of 2006,[36] and was one of six who voted against the Violent Radicalization and Homegrown Terrorism Act.[37] He also voted for authorizing and directing the Committee on the Judiciary to investigate whether sufficient grounds existed for the impeachment of Bill Clinton.[38]

Kucinich advocates US withdrawal from the North American Free Trade Agreement (NAFTA) because, in his view, it causes the loss of more American jobs than it creates, and does not provide adequate protections for worker rights and safety and environmental safeguards. He is against the Central American Free Trade Agreement (CAFTA) for the same reason.[47]

On January 9, 2009, Kucinich was one of the dissenters in a 390-5 vote with 22 abstentions for a resolution recognizing Israel's "right to defend itself [against Hamas rocket attacks]" and reaffirming the U.S.'s support for Israel. The other 4 "no" votes were Gwen Moore of Wisconsin, Maxine Waters of California, Nick Rahall of West Virginia, and Ron Paul of Texas.[54]

See lots of things we agree on. I don't agree with him on gun control, abortion though. I do agree with him on a single payer health system though.
