You sure do love the idea of war.
Meanwhile, if Z accepts the mineral deal, American companies will move in and start mining. That means American civilians on the ground. Russia CANNOT threaten them without risking major consequences.
The US gets part of the profits in repayment, Ukraine gets the rest to pay for rebuilding, and Russia will turn off their aggression.
But you don't like that idea, because it doesn't involve other people's blood.
Which is precisely why both the US and Russia have a policy of notifying the other when they intend of using military force that could potentially impact the other within a region they are both occupying. These types of situations are taken care of with a phone call. If Russia intends of invading, they just let the US know, and Trump will all but oblige by contacting the various companies, which quite frankly would probably take a while to get to ukraine to set up shop anyway, but let's just say they do so in lightning fast time. A couple of phone calls and they're out of there within hours and that's when Russia will attack. How does that protect Ukraine? How does it stop Russia. You tell me. Putin only understand strength. This is nothing but weakness.
