Uh, no, it's not. Putin categorically won't accept even UN peacekeepers in Ukraine, much less allow Ukraine to stay militarized. Gee, I wonder why Putin wouldn't want any kind of military in Ukraine. It's almost as if that would hinder his ability to easily invade again and take Kyiv.

Which is unfortunate because for the mere price of 65 billion in old weapons, which have already been paid for many years ago, Russia's army, it's mechanized military power and it's economy have been decimated. If you were to tell Reagan, all we needed to do was send a tiny fraction of old weapons to another country to fight Russia in order to get this result they'd probably be popping the campaign bottles right now. Instead we have a Russian asset in office who'd sooner side with Russia than America.

First of all, Trump offers mafia-style deals and would not help Ukraine anyway.

Second, why worry about Ukraine when the unelected supreme leader Musk is destroying all the institutions and authority of the American state, and Trump is screwing up the economy, setting up for a collapse. The US gets part of the profits in repayment, Ukraine gets the rest to pay for rebuilding, and Russia will turn off their aggression.

But you don't like that idea, because it doesn't involve other people's blood.
