The reality here is that it has become this way because republicans refuse to honor their responsibility in order to hold on to the white house. By all constitutional measures trump should have been gone before the mueller report was finished due to his violation of laws pertaining to obstruction of justice, witness tampering and witness intimidation. This man is a criminal and these proceedings are not about the 2016 election or the next one.
