Democrats Want To Raise Federal Gas Tax

You RWI's have a problem paying Taxes.
Yes you DO> talking point.

Do you people NOT make enough money?
Or is that you don't want to pay your fair share.
How many of you fools falsely complained that Trump only gave tax cuts to the rich? Seems if you are complaining about not getting tax cuts you are the fools not wanting to pay taxes.

Simple Q dude.
Did trump give a GREATER tax break to the 10% than he did to the middle class or those below middle class.

Of course the answer is NO.
Trump, pos trump, gave ultra tax breaks to the Rich.

Prove that he didn't protect the Rich.

They take the money raised and give it to their political friends and supporters

The White House on Sunday reportedly refused to back down from its demand that a coronavirus relief package include $500 billion, which would be provided to corporations at the discretion of Treasury Secretary Steve Mnuchin.

The bill would permit the Treasury secretary to withhold the names of corporate recipients for up to six months.

U.S. Treasury Secretary Steven Mnuchin told Congress Wednesday that the Trump administration intends to keep secret the names of the businesses that have received more than $500 billion in COVID-19 bailout funds through the Paycheck Protection Program (PPP), claiming the information is “confidential.”

“…. don’t want to pay your fair share”

Stop using that phrase, “pay your fair share”. You and all the Democrats have no idea what “fair share” means. Democrats are like some spouse who doesn’t work yet spends egregiously and when gets questioned or told that spending will be cut, they accuse the spouse of not paying their fair share.

I can.

President Trump kicked off his holiday weekend at Mar-a-Lago Friday night at a dinner where he told friends, "You all just got a lot richer," referencing the sweeping tax overhaul he signed into law hours earlier.

The president has spent many weekends of his presidency so far at the "Winter White House," where initiation fees cost $200,000, annual dues cost $14,000, and some of the most affluent members of society have the opportunity to interact with the president in a setting while many Americans cannot.

Dammit, wrong article.

And here is your problem. You complained that he did not give tax breaks. You just admitted he did. You are now complaining that he did not give enough to you. Yet you were just telling everyone that they were sooo bad because they did not want to pay higher taxes. Lol. You just can not make up your circular thinking. It is funny as hell.

Yup, Democrats love to raise taxes
So, the federal fuel tax needs to be raised.

It hasn't been raised since 1993 and is still 18.4 cents a gallon for gas and 24.4 cents a gallon for diesel.
Meanwhile, the average state tax has risen on top of federal tax 34.24 cents for gas and 35.8 cents on diesel.

But republicans whine about the federal tax.
They claim to love America, they just don't want to support it.

You do realize that the state taxes you are quoting are first of all an average of blue and red states. Red states are lower with better roads then blue states.
Part of the problem with raising fuel taxes is it does not take into consideration those who are using roadways with electric vehicles that are not paying for the upkeep of the roads they are using. So if you want to talk about not supporting America talk to those buying electric vehicles and using roadways without helping to maintain them.

So what are you bitching about, moron. You said you're a millionaire. Were you lying then or are you lying now.

This idea has floated around for years, I can't believe they haven't come up with a solution until now.

It's in Biden's infrastructure bill.

Nestled inside the 2,702-page text is Section 13002, titled "National motor vehicle per-mile user fee pilot." That pretty much covers the meat and potatoes of this section's purpose: piloting a program that would tax drivers based on their annual mileage rather than at the pump.

The idea behind this tax isn't without merit. The federal fuel tax has remained stagnant at 18.4 cents per gallon since 1993, and it hasn't been adjusted to account for more fuel-efficient vehicles, nor for inflation, which would place the tax at around 34 cents per gallon today. As alternatively powered vehicles like electric cars make up more of what's on the road today, drivers of fossil-fueled cars will pay an unproportionate amount of taxes to use the same asphalt.
