Were Democrats in ANY way leftist, they would have moved to secure Medicare for all or some other form of quasi-socialized medicine.

They did not & will not.

Were Democrats in ANY way leftist, they would have mobilized the federal government to create affordable housing.

They did not & will not.

Were Democrats in ANY way leftist, they would not have placed us on the brink of World War III.

It seems like the people you're calling the "left" are those who most political scientists and other commenters call the "far left" — democratic socialists, radical progressives, and outright anarchists. This is in contrast to the garden variety moderate-left liberals that make up most of the party. In that case, I think you made up the 3% number but your point isn't far off; the far left isn't in control of Democrats, and in fact has a bad (to them) habit of sabotaging Democratic initiatives if it didn't get its way (see Nader, Ralph and Stein, Jill).

Biden is the most progressive President we've ever had, but he's still firmly in the moderate camp.

We have two right wing parties in this country, but somehow many Americans don’t know this. The D Party and it’s supporters aren’t leftists, on this we are in complete agreement.

I’ve stated on this forum for years there is little difference between the D and R Parties. On nearly all big issues, they align. I don’t find many posters here who agree with me.

The D Party destroyed its left wing in order to appease the wealthy oligarchy and become the party of the establishment. I suspect this started with Clinton who turned his back to the working class and fully supported Wall Street and the MIC. O furthered this strategy in a big way, thus making the D Party much like the R Party.
