I know that. And I know the price war that Saudi is having with Russia over oil prices was originally due to the lower demand for gasoline due to the corona outbreak.

However, the oil price crashing was the precipitating factor.

Investors are nervous about the impact of all the precautions being taken--major universities, the NBA, concerts, etc. being closed/cancelled. The transportation industry bleeding. It is sure not helping.

I believe we are witnessing history, and it's not happy history. All I can picture is hobos riding the rails and soup lines in the city. My mom said the Great Depression where I live wasn't that bad, because everyone here is basically poor anyway. Of course, they knew it was happening but just like with the Recession we had in '08/'09, the effects here were nothing like the rest of the country.

They didn't have an epidemic to deal with, too, though, at the same time. Whoever said it's a double whammy was right. I don't see how the economy can possibly be steaming along in November.

I just got over pneumonia.
5 days and 4 nights of utter hell then about 10 more not so good but gradually improving. Checked out fine Saturday so back to normal
They were perplexed as never had a fever although did have maximum sweats and chills. Had to go on a rescue inhaler 4X per day then 3-2-1. Strong antibiotics and congestion reliever. Could not breathe right as lungs filled with fluid. Would fall asleep for 15 seconds, could not breathe, wake up and repeat cycle. Did that for 3 nights. I didn’t say they came out on the floor. Apparently they were about ready to tip off when they got word of their teammate’s positive test and cancelled the game.

Due to limited availability, we are still only testing those with symptoms and not everyone exposed. It would be better to test everyone exposed but we are in a state of rationing those tests at this moment.
