Stepping on soapbox. Here's what I don't get about the right to life crowd. It's all about suppression. Not prevention or avoidance. You would think that if you genuinely and passionately believe that abortion is akin to murder then you would try to appeal to human nature instead of trying to legislate. Support Planned Parenthood efforts for reproductive health and birth control. Keep in mind that for a lot of women, PP is their ONLY means of health care. Support sex education in schools, easy distribution of contraception, and access to accurate health information at the state and federal level. And voila, you would see a dramatic reduction in the amount of abortions. But you thumpers can't see the forest for the trees.

But no, it's easier for statists on the right to stack the Supreme Court in an effort to overturn Roe v Wade, invoke the Hyde Amendment, slut shame (because you know, no one anywhere ever thought about sex), cut funding for PP, make obtaining contraception harder...all because of a slavish devotion to a sky pixie that bible thumpers clasp their hands together and pray for absolution to.
