But it is OK, as he chicken out and backed off immediate implementation, and the markets stabilized after listening to cooler heads, and not wanting to be the President that killed the US economy, and have that as his legacy, with the only ones making money on the deals, seemingly knowing when to get out, and buy back in, as if tipped off.

If you don't think they would relish blaming Trump for American deaths, you haven't been paying attention to the insanity of the Left.

They would certainly blame him, and if it actually does create it, everyone would know he was responsible, as he would be.
That is not the same as cheering for it. Recognition of reality, would not be the same as cheering. It simply would not be sticking their head in sand and ignoring reality.

I do not figure they will get away with much, stateside. Our military self protects as priority of their mission in a combat zone or really anywhere else OCONUS. It is a dangerous job, but attacks by enemies, while in a war zone comes with the mission. Sad, but true, and most of the time, they are good at it.

I really do not expect much stock market fallout on Operation Midnight Hammer. It is not like Iran was a major trading partner,

Iran doesn’t need nukes. All they have to do is close the Strait of Hormuz.

Old strategy whose time has come and gone...besides the fifth fleet is homeported/deployed out of baharain in the Arabian sea where Hormuz is located, [but check that out just to make sure I got it right] the red sea is the real oil highway, all we have to do is tie up Iranian air space with day and night saturation/carpet bombing [like in Iraq] making priority one for them defense of their own air space, any missiles that happen to get through will then have to avoid our "iron dome" defense system, that include fighter jets, then avoid the ground forces air defenses then our naval air defenses which are our greatest anti-missile defense [surface vessels and submarines both] then avoid detection from our AWAC's and satellites and only then they can worry about finding moving targets they cannot see.

That would be quite the feat, but what would it matter? what would it change? more than likely it would benefit us if for no other reason than to stir/give the countries selling and buying that oil a reason to join the fray, in fact who would it surprise if we allowed something like that to happen for just that purpose?

Who said anything about hoping Trumps Iran decision failed, or that there was successful blow back, besides right wing nut balls. I am still waiting to see some credible link Dem leader hope we are unsuccessful. At worst, American are hoping for the best, but know there could be blowback.

I am quietly optimistic, this will work out and pretty optimistic, we will see no American boots on the ground, mopping up and changing regimes. Operations like Midnight Hammer, our military is better than anybody. Mop up and regime change, we totally suck balls, and are lousy at, and have been as far back as my living memory, at the very least.

You aren't. Nothing you just posted is correct. Just FYI.

Bahrain is in the Persian Gulf, not the Arabian Gulf. The Strait of Hormuz connects the Persian Gulf and Arabian Sea. The Red Sea has not nearly as much oil as heads east to Asia. You should consult a good map or globe.

Yeah, but you haven't completely lost the plot. You have a touch of TDS, but I'm hopeful you'll get over it in time.

There are a few for folks on our little site here I put in that category.

But so many have so much sunk cost in hating Trump, their critical thinking has completely evaporated.
