Don't be so sure. Vast numbers of Dems got elected in 2008 by LYING through their teeth, pretending to be conservatives. Then as soon as they arrived in DC they voted lock step with the liberal Dems on every issue. They did real damage for 2 years before the American people bitch slapped them out of office in 2010.
