It was already listed in the OP.Lol. Seriously? What is democrats current approval rating?
You have most of the public airwave's Pro Prog. Endless propaganda. Low ratings or not, near never cancelled. TV productions with most woke to some degree. Cancelled and new ones the same. Meanwhile the citizen pays with the endless commercials. Then we see real life. The real deaths. The real casualties that survive with disabilities defending others.Supreme Court. Party of trump.

Higher then the DemsIt was already listed in the OP.
Now, the Republicans' current approval rating?
This does have that "with our dying breathe" vibe, now that you mention it.I've been thinking lately that the government shut down may wind up being democrat's last stand. They are determined to stand up to Trump in order to turn the party's fortunes around. Democrats currently only have a 34% approval rating, which is actually 10 points lower than Trump's. The shutdown has gone on for over two weeks now and most polls show that Americans blame both parties fairly equally. If democrats cave to Trump or lose the shutdown fight then the democrats best shot at redemption has gone down the crapper for good. In other words, it will be their last stand, ala General Custer. With the polls on the subject being close to 50/50 it gives Republicans the courage to not cave so the best democrats can do is a stalemate, which is not a win and they can go merrily on with their 34% approval rating and, if they finally wind up caving, then they join the likes of Custer in American history.

Bernie has been peddling the same old shit for a long time. Progressives saw Trump take over the Republican party and they feel they can do the same to the democrat party, although I don't believe they can.JMO, but I don't think the progressive liberal democrats are gonna just go away. That's cuz they believe they know what's best for the rest of us even if we don't see it that way. But what will they do if they lose in 2026 and again in 2028? Will they moderate their position in some ways or double down and lie about their real intentions? It feels like the number of independents is going up while the number of democrats is declining. But I don't think that many of them are switching to the GOP, and they'll go back to the DNP if they really don't like what Trump is doing. Especially if the country slides into a mild recession or close to it.

Doesn't matter. It's the democrat primary voters who matter and the majority of them aren't going to vote for the progressives.I think they already have taken over the DNP to some extent, maybe not total control though. Yet. Moderate democrats are leaving the party, but a few missteps by the Repubs could drive them back.
