This has to be one of the more ignorant posts of the year ^^^^
How is that? Won't blue voters leaving blue states vote blue? I mean are new residents to Red States required to sign some loyalty oath? North Carolina is a solidly purple state. We have operated with a Democrat governor and a Republican legislature for almost a decade now. Once a solidly red state, transplants from other states, like say New York, have changed the political landscape. It is almost comical to watch the Republicans desperately trying to maintain power by carving up Congressional districts, and we are talking at the State level, state house districts. The Triangle, Charlotte, Greensboro it really is eye-opening to look at the districts that have been conceded to the Democrats. Used to be, well they walked in all the minorities. Now, they are fencing in the PROSPEROUS districts. Red district, shithole, red district, shithole, blue district, number one school district in the state, highest incomes.

Come on, don't you think many of those leaving those blue states are going to be Democrats? You reckon some might bring their politics with them?
They do, but I don't believe that is the point.

In Arizona, we get a lot of Californias who are purple at best.

But, when we get a new congressional district or our EC votes increase....we will send one more red vote to the GOP....and more than likely....our new district will be red (and when we really start gerrymandering....watch out).

Tennessee? The problem is those leaving the Blue States fer Red States will still vote Blue.

didnt happen in 2024 election the new districts were not blue and the old districts stayed the same as before.

But you are right, in the past when people moved from the northeast or California they continued voting for stuff they said they left those shitholes for. Maybe the new ones are wising up. if you move because the politics make prices and taxes to high stop voting for the same people in the new state.

I've seen statistics which show that the majority of those moving out of blue states are actually people from the right. But, just to humor you, why would a blue person move out of a blue state to a red state? And, don't give me any nonsense.
Again, North Carolina is the perfect example. Job opportunities, climate, lower cost of living. Hell, the Yankees have been flocking here for decades.

I believe North Carolina is the preview of the future for the Republican party. While North Carolina has been solidly red until recently, it used to be blue, back in the day, Hell, William Jennings Bryan and Adali Stevenson won the state. But over the last twenty years the Republican party, in power, acting like tryant quite honestly, are quickly turning this place into a shithole.

Needs some help here.

First.....is this people moving out? If so, that's not a lot as a percentage of actual population. That's a half percent.

Second....if it is people moving out, what about organic deaths and births. Seems like that might be even more significant.

Third....do we know how many illegals took up residence in the state that is drawn like a turd?
They use illegals to offset the real number but since they are being deported at 3 million a year the real loss will be huge. The census measures population not deaths. People are voting with their feet fleeing democrat states as they become unlivable.

The democrats states are the shitholes as millions leave to live in GOP states

And there it is with that stupid ass illegal immigrants voting horseshit.

I disagree I live in NC have since 1993 the only problem we have is the idiots keep voting in democrats as Governor.

I suspect it is just part of an ongoing cycle:
  • red states are currently cheaper to live in but that may change in the future as more people move there
  • blue state people are used to government protections and services so they may turn red states purple
I look at it as blue states are gentrifying the red states.
The reverse will happen. Its job cretors leavcing dencrats states and replaced by illegals 50% are on welfare

yup California and New York are driving out the rich and losing buisness.
And raising taxes even more can you believe it. Its a death spiral. At the same time they invite illegals 50% are on welfare

Maybe by 2040 or so the entire country will be more or less purple.

Well, since SCOTUS kicked you people in your sandy vaginas the other day imploding is eminent.
This was major blow to democrats. It li its them and helps the GOP change districts

So, if I understand you correctly, you're admitting that blue states with their laws and policies suck.

It really can't be understated the tool that was taken away from the vile dems by SCOTUS.

It's not gonna be just Southern States gaining seats once the lawsuits start to fly.

PA is ripe for the picking too. They have two racially gerrymandered districts and the gop is already going after them.

But over the last twenty years the Republican party, in power, acting like tryant quite honestly, are quickly turning this place into a shithole.
But isn't that the result of people voting them in.

Essentially, choosing to be a blankhole?
