Democrats Are Extraordinarily United Behind Biden

‘Nate Cohn: “Over all, voters in the battleground states who said Bernie Sanders was their top choice for president said they backed Mr. Biden over President Trump, 87% to 4%. If there was a Bernie-or-Bust movement, it has either faded with the conclusion of the Democratic race, or it never existed in serious numbers in the battleground states.”

“Mr. Biden commands even more significant support from voters who supported Elizabeth Warren in the primary. The Democrats who said she was their top choice to be the Democratic nominee backed Mr. Biden over Mr. Trump by a staggering margin of 96% to 0% — even wider than Mr. Biden’s 96-1 lead among those who said he was their top choice in the Democratic primary.”’

Democrats are also extraordinarily united in their opposition to Trump.
I remember when conservatives were poking Bernie to make him upset about the establishment. Didn't work very well this time around

Bernie's a sellout. Like every other Progressive leader, he's only in it for the money

There is a theory from the 2016 election that a significant number of Sanders supporters refused to vote for Clinton – deciding instead to vote third party, write-in, or not vote at all; where had they voted for Clinton she would have been elected president.

This polling suggests that won’t be a factor in 2020 – that supporters of candidates other than Biden during the primary will likely vote for Biden, including Sanders supporters.

Bernie was my first choice. So much for that, now tRump must go. I'd be united behind Vermin Supreme if he was all there was besides tRump.
so it doesnt matter to you if the choice was worse than trump?...

Biden is nothing more than a front man for the progressives! They know they can't get a Bernie Sanders socialist elected in this country so they're doing the next best thing! They're trying to get someone elected President who appears benign (like a senile Joe Biden!) but won't resist what it is that they want to do! He's nothing more than a modern day Trojan Horse!

You just can't stand it that Biden is an old time Statesman who will work with all sides except for you party of the Rumpsters whom no one can work with.
so he doesnt work with all sides?...

The polling is correct at least for me.

I didn't vote for Biden in the primary. I voted for who I wanted for president.

The republicans left Independents like me with no other alternative.

I will vote for Biden in November.

Democrats likely are. To win though you need the Independents.

Really? It seems a large number of Republicans who voted for Donald Trump in '16 have had enough, and will vote for VP Biden:

and,

The only hope The Donald has is voter suppression, and his effort to suppress the vote is to claim a vote by mail would be rigged to defeat him. I suspect he really believes this, when one tells the same lie over and over it can become reality in the brain of the liar.
yea they are all going to vote biden a guy who they could not stand a few short years ago........

In 2012 Bernie ran on a socialist platform that was against Millionaires and Billionaires. In 2016 when Bernie was a Millionaire he ran on a platform against Billionaires.. Funny how a lefty tells you one thing then does exactly what he told you he was against....

I have been a registered Independent since 1978.

I will vote for Joe Biden.

The republicans, trump and his supporters have sent Independents like me running from republicans in horror of what they have become.

Support for trump from Independents is collapsing in all but 6 states.

independents run from democrats too......how come you are running to them?....

And? Like we give a fuck that you are going to vote for "the groper of women and children"? Says something about your character, or lack of....

I'm an independent. I haven't met too many that support Biden or Trump. Further, they find the behavior of the Democrats revolting. I wonder why that is. More importantly, it is past time that the Democrats wonder why that is.
when you have a so called independent who is suddenly loving trump or biden....chances are they aint no independent.....

I agree with that statement. Now, if they could lay out the rational for why beyond.........I don't like him then it might be a tale worth hearing.

I don't think independents want to vote for anyone. They probably won't show up to the polls. There's zero enthusiasm for Biden. He's an even worse candidate than Hillary was. He makes George McGovern look brilliant. He's like a wet mop with a constant stink of corruption and incompetence around him.

Democrats feel they can win by stealing votes through mail-in ballots and manufacturing votes. That's how they won back the House. By stealing Red districts in CA.

I think the closer we get to the election, the more people are going to become aware that Trump is easily the choice with their best interest in mind. Wall St. will too.
