Democrat Soul Searching Thread

Well, thanks for giving it a shot, you're actually the very first one in 5 pages. But, what I got out of that is that you don't think they should have done anything differently, other than better messaging. Better messaging only means that you didn't spin it well enough so you need to spin it even more. When things are right, peole already know and don't need messaging or better spinning.
That is correct. Its funny you put this OP up today. This morning Mark Esper (Secretary of the Army for Trump) stated this morning exactly what I said. He said that people vote more on emotion than on data, statistics, and facts. If you get people feeling one way or the other, they will vote on their feelings.

Trump made people feel that everything was worse and Kamala did not counteract that with the fact that this was not Biden's fault but the pandemic's fault and that what Biden did to get us out of those problems was exemplary. That is the feeling that Kamala should have pushed over and over again. She barely mentioned it. Trump was saying the opposite 50 times a day.

For the record, I was taught back in the 70's one fact about getting people to buy a product. You need to mention it at least 7-8 times before it sinks in. I was a very successful salesman and that is because I showed people what the benefits of the product I was selling over and over again. I also showed people the negatives of the product so they could see the benefits were more than the negatives and that I was showing them the true picture of the product (not lying to them). That is why I was #1 or #2 salesman with every product I ever sold.

Repetition, repetition and repetition. That is what the big company's do with the products they sell. They advertise on TV over and over again and get famous people to say that the product is great and needs to be bought. The more you do that, the more you get people to buy. Kamala did repeat over and over again the negatives but not so much the positives and since Trump was more "believable" on the negatives (kamala did not have a good track record) that is why he won.

Unfortunately, he brings more negatives than positives as he is a liar, a scam artist and incompetent and his words, he will not back them up, or worse he will back them up but since he does not consider the negatives of actions, the nation will feel them. When that happens, I GUARANTEE you that he will blame someone else and not himself. He never acknowledgs his own mistakes so that they can be corrected. As such, the mistakes get bigger and bigger.

It is a sad picture and those that believe in him are going to continue to believe his lies.

The thing I hate about Trump the most is his incompetency. That is a trait that causes a lot of harm.

Yes, a lot of you were voting over the emotion of hating Trump. Thanks for admitting that.

No, that is the wrong interpretation of the post and what others that posted of him felt. No one hates anyone unless that person gives you valid reasons to hate. Trump has given plenty of reasons to hate him (he insults, debases, attacks opponents just because they have opposing views, promises revenge, thinks he is better than everyone, scams and cons people, and he never thinks of the consequences and always blames others for his own mistakes.

I don't know about you, but to me every one of those are valid reasons to hate a person and he has done them all. He is the one to blame for people hating him.

The Democrats spent over a BILLION $ to suffer this humiliating defeat.

The wealthy donors, including the hypocritical celebrities, have too much influence in the party.

“It is time, respectfully, to the George Clooneys of the world, the Hollywood of the world, respectfully to the James Carville of the world, who they’re still listening to… it’s time for them to have a seat and listen to the grassroots,” she added, saying that “until they do that, Democrats will continue to fail.”

I already stated it was the economy. It's what we've been discussing.

Did you do any soul searching after Trump lost in 2020? Of course not. You guys retrenched into conspiracy theories and paranoia.

Don't pretend you're the rational one here.
What happened to the 15 million new Biden voters?

15 million people don't just stay home.

The stats prove voting anomalies, with a 99.9999% level of confidence. That's six sigma. Can't be denied

Bargaining. ^^^

Naw, it's much easier just to blame everything and everyone else. That's what Democrats generally do.
Not only are the Democrats blame Trump for the loss, they are blaming one another for the complete and udder failure! Harris is blaming Biden, Biden is blaming Harris; Pelosi is blaming both. Throwing each other under the bus!

It's BEAUTIFUL!

Goes to show there is absolutely NO ACCOUNTABILITY whatsoever to the Dems!

Plutocrats & perverts & AIPAC vs proles & POC & pro-Palestinians

The civil war within the Democratic Party rages.

Many Democrats are angry about their big defeat. They are looking to blame someone.[/MEDIA]
