So, I ask Democrats and those who voted for Harris, after a few days have you done any soul searching as to why Trump won? Or, have you just ignored any soul searching and are sticking with, "I didn't realize that there were that many crazy misogynistic racist MAGAs out there who have been conned by the convicted orange felon who is a threat to democracy?".

Naw, it's much easier just to blame everything and everyone else. That's what Democrats generally do.

We know why Trump won. He, being the expert con man that he is, convinced you that the underpinning of our economy, namely neoliberalism can produce a new Golden Age for ordinary people. Since neoliberalism was introduced as our economic model by Ronald Reagan it has only produced the decline of the middle class and left poor people in the dust. Cause that's what it's designed to do. Wealth has not trickled down on the great unwashed and it never will.

There’s other issues too, but if inflation hadn’t been so pronounced, they probably would have done far better.

It was a relatively uniform and broad based shift to the right. The economy is the only thing they truly explains it.

I doubt the border crisis had nearly as much to do with it as it has affected far fewer people relatively.

Crime went up during 2020 when Trump was president, not that you'd ever think of blaming him. Not sure what the president has to do with crime.

I was totally unaffected by the "border crisis" and I'm pretty sure most people are the same. Were you?
