Let's be fair.

It is not a Democratic or Republican problem.

When a significant proportion of a city's population is violent, there is not much that can be done.

This is 2023.

The politicians are terrified of cracking down, lest the media label them as "racists."

So basically, the problem is hopeless.

(A lot of New Yorkers, for example, have simply packed up and moved to Florida, I hear.)
