KKK Members in Kentucky Pull Gun on LGBTQ+ Activists — Police Let Them Go
The men were reportedly handing out KKK recruitment cards.
"Two alleged members of the Ku Klux Klan reportedly threatened people at a pro-LGBTQ+ rights rally in Kentucky on June 3 — one of whom even pulled a gun on the small crowd. Police on the scene in Corbin, however, didn’t arrest them, according to a police report obtained by news site Raw Story. The outlet reports that one of the men handing out KKK recruitment cards was identified in the report as Kenneth Hutton, 44. He’d previously worked for Corbin’s city government. The small rally held on June 3 was in protest of anti-trans legislation proposed in the Kentucky legislature. The group of about seven held the event in a local park. The activists held signs in support of LGBTQ+ people. While they said they expected maybe some negative remarks, they didn’t expect to be terrorized.
Trent Osborne, one of the organizers of the peaceful event, said that one of the men told him, “I oughta burn you and that sign,” according to the local newspaper the Times-Tribune. Osborne added, “They began spouting slurs and hateful slander. The f slur was said on multiple occasions when the two men approached, they each had their hands on their guns which were hidden in their pockets.” In the weeks following the incident, flyers supporting the Trinity White Knights of the Klu Klux Klan have shown up in Corbin.“Parents take control of our schools,” the KKK flyers read, according to Raw Story. “Remove all filth from school libraries. Two gender policies. End the presence of men in the girlsroom.”
When will the Democrats stand up to the racist rhetoric and threatening actions of the KKK members in their party? These freedom-haters decided to threaten people with guns, people who were peacefully protesting?? Why are Democrats trying to silence speech? And what were the Democrat-KKK members doing? Passing out recruiting flyers, urging parents to take control over school boards, pushing anti-LGBTQ rhetoric, banning school books, you know, all of the stuff Anti-Education Marxists are trying to do...It is not surprising how closely aligned the policies and rhetoric of elected Democrats and the KKK really are -- they are basically one and the same....why are they so afraid of gays??
Yes, that is exactly how stupid you right-wingers sound when you continue trying to claim the KKK and the Democrats are the same....when you try to claim the white supremacists are on the liberal side of the ideological spectrum.....Maybe you should pass some of those flyers around to your Neo-Nazi friends and tell them, because they definitely didn't get the memo - they all still feel very very very at home with the right-wing.....as they have always been -- but you are more than welcome to gaslight your way around it...
