The left is a pure totalitarian ideology. It's a top down, one size fits all approach. History has taught that it never works - even in small, homogeneous nations like Cuba. But it is especially catastrophic in a vast and diverse nation like the U.S. (which stretches across 5 time zones). Until they embrace the U.S. Constitution which designed our structure of government to function with very limited responsibilities at the federal level so that the people could control their own lives and meet their own needs at the local level - Democrats will continue to struggle in elections.
