[Democrat] State Attorney General Eric Schneiderman called his Sri Lankan girlfriend his “brown slave” and wanted her to refer to him as “Master,” the woman says.

“He started calling me his ‘brown slave’ and demanding that I repeat that I was ‘his property.’”

Red states are Liberal....red=communist.
Really
Our old white farts here keep posting red USA maps to show how repub they are?
Your education continues:
Remember when the 'red states' were Democrat, 'cause, well, Democrats/Liberals were so closely identified with communists, reds, socialists....
Then the control of the media really paid off for your Lefties....and now the obfuscation is complete.
1. "It's beginning to look like a suburban swimming pool,'' the television anchor David Brinkley noted on election night 1980, as hundreds of Republican-blue light bulbs illuminated NBC's studio map, signaling a landslide victory for Ronald Regan over the Democratic incumbent Jimmy Carter. Other staffers, Time magazine wrote, called it ''Lake Reagan.''
Mr. Carter's bulbs were red."

Canada party colors are deeply ingrained and historic and have been unchanged during the Twentieth Century.

How did CNN get away with changing the party affiliation colors Democrats blue and Republicans red?
I have a video tape of the 1988 election returns of CNN showing democrats as red (as they always had been) and republicans blue Then in 1992 they reversed it and evryone just blindly followed it and now its accepted as having always been that way!!!

4. Blue, particularly dark blue, is usually associated with
conservative parties, originating from its use by that party of the United Kingdom.
§ The field of the flag of the United Nations is
light blue, chosen to represent peace and hope. It has given rise to the term
bluewashing.
§ In the United States, since the year 2000, the mass media have associated blue with the
Democratic Party, even though the Democratic Party is a liberal-leaning party. In 2010, the party unveiled a blue official logo
Red is traditionally associated with
socialism and
communism. The oldest symbol of socialism (and, by extension, communism) is the
Red Flag, which dates back to the
revolutions of 1848. The colour red was chosen to represent the blood of the workers who died in the struggle against capitalism. All major socialist and communist alliances and organisations – including the
First,
Second, and
Third Internationals – used red as their official colour. The association between the colour red and communism is particularly strong. Communists use red much more often and more extensively than other ideologies use their respective traditional colours.
§ In Europe and Latin America, red is also associated with parties of
social democracy, and often their allies within the
labour movement. Sometimes these parties use pink instead, as a "moderate" colour instead of the more "radical" red.
§ In the United States, since the year 2000, the mass media have associated red with the
Republican Party, despite the fact that the Republican Party is a conservative-leaning party. Since at least 2010, the party has adopted an all red logo.

"Red" States, "Blue" States....Why.
I contend that the assignment of the words "Red" and "Blue" to Republicans and Democrats is by no means accidental.
Instead, it is associated with the 'brain-washing' that has made the Left so successful with the less introspective...
...certainly it is not because their ideas are better.
And without control of the Main Stream Media...it would not have been possible.

4. "The former system made more sense and
was deliberately changed by media partisans who didn’t like to suggest Democrats should be associated with the color red....What’s a little more surprising, however, is how easily Republicans fell in line, apparently without realizing the reason they went from blue to red overnight. There’s even a Republican-leaning opinion site called RedState.com. How shortsighted and gullible can you get?
That made even more sense because
Reagan’s convictions were decidedly and unabashedly anti-red.
There were deviations at some other networks, but the standard remained Democrat-red and Republican-blue for three more presidential elections. It was understandable. There was little confusion about it. It all made sense.
Democrats were at least soft on communism and socialism in the post JFK-LBJ world. Republicans tended to be anti-communist. It was all perfectly understandable, accurate and
had both historical precedent to support it as well as contemporary parallels in other countries.
Some Democrats, perhaps those not belonging openly to the Progressive Caucus, might be
a little self-conscious about being red. Republicans are not. But the fact remains that today’s Democrats are pushing a political agenda that is traditionally, historically and practically red all over.
I propose to you it’s time we –
real Americans, the rest of us – stopped being manipulated like this."
How red states turned blue and vice versa
As they say, they treat voters the way mushrooms are raised....in the dark and fed s**t.
To see how stupid they believe the electorate to be, take a look at the NYTimes explanation for Republicans as 'red."
" The color coding we're familiar with today didn't stick until the iconic (and extremely lengthy) election of 2000, when
The New York Times and
USA Today published their first full-color election maps. The
Times spread used red for Republicans because "red begins with r, Republican begins with r," said the senior graphics editor Archie Tse, "it was a more natural association." The election, which didn't end until mid-December, firmly established Democrats as the blue party and Republicans as the red — denotations which will likely hold fast for some time to come."
Why are Republicans red and Democrats blue?

Let's review O'Sullivan's Law....
O'Sullivan's First Law (a.k.a. O'Sullivan's Law), paraphrased by
George Will as stating that any institution that is not libertarian and classically liberal will, over time, become
collectivist and
statist. O'Sullivan's First Law: All organizations that are not actually right-wing will over time become left-wing. I cite as supporting evidence the ACLU, the Ford Foundation, and the Episcopal Church. The reason is, of course, that people who staff such bodies tend to be the sort who don't like private profit, business, making money, the current organization of society, and, by extension, the Western world. At which point Michels's Iron Law of Oligarchy takes over — and the rest follows.

And that brings us to the vaunted Smithsonian Institute....which hides the truth in vague language....
" In the beginning, blue was red and red was blue and they changed back and forth from election to election and network to network in what appears, in hindsight, to be a flight of whimsy. The notion that there were “red states” and “blue states”—and that the former were Republican and the latter Democratic—wasn’t cemented on the national psyche until the year 2000.....
All the maps—on TV stations and Web sites election night and in newspapers the next morning—will look alike. We won’t have to switch our thinking as we switch channels, wondering which candidate is blue and which is red. Before the epic election of 2000, there was no uniformity in the maps that television stations, newspapers or magazines used to illustrate presidential elections. Pretty much everyone embraced red and blue, but which color represented which party varied, sometimes by organization, sometimes by election cycle.
