What Ukraine is doing is typical of nations at war. Press freedom is curtailed, dissent is discouraged, or actively suppressed to prevent interference with military operations.Russia does not have a democracy. The lack of a free press says mountains to that effect. The Ukraine was a lot further along this way to a good democracy. Russia is going backwards today.
