No. Bush and O started their endless wars, corruption, hatred for american values etc. But yes, we are quickly losing our power. The US has nearly completed the circle and time permits for a republic. We're almost back to the point of bondage.

When we were terrorizing the Cuba population? When we stopped the election in Vietnam because our guy was going to lose? How about the assassination of the President of Vietnam? Carpet bombing of Hanoi? Cambodia? Our intervention in Latin America and our support for dictators across the globe? History is full of our values. We just like to think we hold the high moral ground, but it's a myth.

The Decline/Demise of "America" (the culture, not the country), can be seen through the following:
1. Criminal justice system becomes a cruel joke, with most trials focused on what "crimes" can be found in the CONDUCT OF THE POLICE, to get the bastard off. Hundreds of thousands of known criminals get off on "technicalities" while the criminal court system learns to deal with the outrages coming out of the Supreme Court.
2. Standards of decency go out the window, as the Supreme Court declares that the "First Amendment" protects smut peddlers and pornographers.
3. Largely pushed by the ACLU, America's students get a whole raft of "Constitutional Rights," thus preventing teachers from using disciplinary tools that have worked since the inception of public schools. With predictable results..."You can't TOUCH ME!" say the students. And they are right.
4. Supreme Court creates "Affirmative Action," thus destroying the American ideal of "equal justice for all," and creating a cottage industry of umbrage takers and their scumbag lawyers, while at the same time casting a shadow on "minorities" who earn their jobs and success through merit.
5. The invention of The Pill (and other forms of artificial birth control) gives American males the ability to totally avoid responsibility for parenting their offspring with the simple claim that, "She failed to take her pill, so the kid is HERS."
6. The legalization of abortion trivializes human life itself, and takes the campaign for enhanced rights for women off on a tangent focused on infanticide, where it continues to reside.
7. The "War on Poverty" makes the State the de facto "father" of tens of millions, as Government (the taxpayers) provides a cornucopia of benefits to so-called single mothers (making the biological father unnecessary), and removes the longstanding stigma of bastardy.
8. The institution of Marriage is attacked from all sides: divorce rates skyrocket as 40-year-old adolescents find that their aging spouses no longer "turn them on,"; aging hippies choose not to get married, while still spawning a generation of aimless, spoiled children; Courts find that the Constitution guarantees the right of anyone to marry anyone else.
9. Draft-dodging hippies invade colleges and universities, AND STAY THERE, ultimately becoming the ruling professors, department heads, and deans. Academe becomes a hopeless, out-of-touch bastion for the otherwise-unemployable wastrels who idolize dead socialists, despots, and clueless idealists. "Western Civilization" becomes passe in the new academic environment where the merit of one's work is mainly evaluated based on the level of perceived oppression of one's ethnic, gender, or otherwise oppressed group.
10. Lacking real creative talent, the entertainment industry becomes the plaything of transplanted, east-coast degenerates, with conventions of fiction thrown out the window in favor of blood, lust, and anything that will shock the viewer.
11. The News Media becomes an arm of the political Left, creating nonsense "news" for political gain, slanting the coverage of people and events almost beyond recognition, and suppressing actual news that doesn't fit into the current Leftist narrative.
And so, a Reality TV star and successful businessman uses his name recognition and the ardent support of about 1/4th of the American population to strategically blow up the American political system and be elected President. The ENTIRE ESTABLISHMENT - Government, Media, Entertainment, Sports - are all shocked and outraged, and do everything they can to disparage, defeat, discourage, and destroy this Reality TV star. But a funny thing happens. Real American People start to realize that this guy is THE ONLY ONE in the entire power structure who is willing to do what is necessary to help make their lives a little bit better.
He will stop the flow of millions of welfare-seeking immigrants who have "crashed" (and continue to crash) our borders; he will strangle the regulatory state to STOP them from ruining our lives and businesses with crushing regulations designed to "save the planet" and make themselves more important; he will give us a little tax cut, with the hope that business will be stimulated (it has been); he will maximize our energy output - including the dreaded coal - so that we don't have to kiss the asses of foreign despots to keep the flow of oil coming; he tells the Rest of the World that we will no longer live with one-sided trade arrangements where they tax the shit out of our stuff that we ship to them, while we accept their goods with no duties whatsoever. The list goes on and on.
This man is no moral paragon, but he is the best option we have, for now. Long Live the Trumpster.

Everyone that pays taxes got a tax break. If you paid less taxes than someone else, then they got more back than you. Do you understand that concept?
