Dear Mr. Trump, there are no statute of limitations when illegally reporting your taxes. Oops!

This is going to be an "after the election bombshell".

Remember when Trump said he legally avoided paying taxes for 18 years because he lost a billion in a single year? Uh oh, not so fast.

But newly obtained documents show that in the early 1990s, as he scrambled to stave off financial ruin, Mr. Trump avoided reporting hundreds of millions of dollars in taxable income by using a tax avoidance maneuver so legally dubious his own lawyers advised him that the Internal Revenue Service would most likely declare it improper if he were audited.

But the opinion letters Mr. Trump received from his tax lawyers at Willkie Farr & Gallagher were far from the gold standard. The letters bluntly warned that there was no statute, regulation or judicial opinion that explicitly permitted Mr. Trump’s tax gambit. “Due to the lack of definitive judicial or administrative authority,” his lawyers wrote, “substantial uncertainties exist with respect to many of the tax consequences of the plan.”

You can see the entire letter at the link.

Don't you see? When the investors and partners of Trump's casino's forgave Trump’s debt, that should have shown up in Trump’s taxes as income. But Trump didn't report it as income. Trump was reporting their loss as his loss. So he lied about his income and lied about his loss. That's what the story is telling us. This is huge.

And what other problems does he have?

Investigations have barely started into Trump's bribery charge.

The Trump foundation is a mess breaking at least a half dozen laws. It's already received one fine even before the first investigation started and has received a "Cease and Desist" order from the office of the Attorney General of New York.

And remember, Trump's base is uneducated and poor whites. NOT the people who would go to his hotels and resorts. And people with morals will probably avoid supporting this odious man.

Trump is in deep doo doo moving ahead years into the future.

It won't matter since he will be the President buut I do realize you are really getting desperate now. Your candidate is so corrupt she can't even handle a debate without cheating.

Cheating? What are you talking about?

There's a new day coming. Donald Trump will be President with a huge majority of Republicans in the House and a solid majority in the Senate. We will have possibly three Conservative judges on the Supreme Court during President Trump's administration. This nation will turn around very quickly.

You can see then entire 47 page letter from the lawyers here:

That's why they refused to sign off on it.

This was just reported today. Big problem for Trump. If anyone thinks that Trump becoming president will make this go away is fooling themselves. For taxes, there are no statute of limitations.

Turn around into what? What is it do you think he will do? Bring back white into the White House?

Looks like this story is starting to get some legs. This is why Trump won't release his tax returns. I believe after the election, the government will NOT let this go. A billion dollars stolen from the government by one individual is simply too much.

Trump avoided reporting hundreds of millions of dollars in taxable income by using a tax avoidance maneuver so legally dubious his own lawyers advised him that the Internal Revenue Service would most likely declare it improper if he were audited.

Donald Trump is both unapologetic about using “other people’s money” whenever possible, and proud of the way he allegedly avoided paying income tax for years by writing off nearly a billion dollars in losses, as The New York Times first reported last month. Now, a new trove of documents obtained by the Times reveals how Trump combined both of those things to wipe out his liabilities, using investors’ money to avoid reporting hundreds of millions of dollars in taxable income in the form of canceled debt on his floundering casino empire—a maneuver that even his own lawyers warned would likely get him in trouble with the I.R.S.

Like the Trump Foundation, this has been exposed. There is no backing away from it. It's out there. Win or lose, Trump will be in deep financial trouble. Even his lawyers warned him so he can't blame them.
