The World Health Organization has lifted its 43 year ban on DDT, after finally admitting, along with Greenpeace, the Sierra Club, and others, that there is no evidence that DDT is anything but benign. It has now authorized DDT for indoor use throughout Africa to prevent malaria. Don't expect an apology from Greenpeace, Sierra Club, or the infamous Rachel Carson, whose book, "Silent Spring," pretty effectively ended DDT use worldwide.
