State Department spokesman Ned Price challenged a reporter with The Associated Press during a Tuesday press briefing and quickly had his dignity handed back to him when the reporter was able to easily refute Price’s spin.
...reporter Matt Lee pressed Price on the notion that the Biden administration was helpless to reverse course on things that the prior administration did.
“Are you saying that you’re not – you have a – you’re not confident in your negotiating skills that you could have renegotiated with – that you couldn’t have renegotiated a deal with the Taliban and that the – and are you saying that the President, in fact, didn’t want to take troops out, didn’t want to withdraw?”

Reports out of the country said protesters chanted "Freedom," "Enough," and "We Want Liberty."
Sen. Marco Rubio, R-Fla., called the tweet from the State Department "ridiculous."

"People in Cuba are protesting 62 years of socialism, lies, tyranny & misery not "expressing concern about rising COVID cases/deaths," he tweeted. "Why is it so hard for @potus & the people in his administration to say that?"

Biden made some bleak historical comparisons, including one that has become familiar in recent months.

“The 21st-century Jim Crow assault is real. It’s unrelenting, and we are going to challenge it vigorously,” he said.

The president later turned it up a notch, framing the issue as a battle and seeming to imply that the Jan. 6 riot at the Capitol might have been worse than a war that saw 700,000 deaths.

“We are facing the most significant test of our democracy since the Civil War. That’s not hyperbole. Since the Civil War,” Biden said. “Confederates back then never breached the Capitol as insurrectionists did on Jan. 6. I’m not saying this to alarm you. I’m saying this because you should be alarmed.”

The Jim Crow era following the Civil War saw a series of racist laws imposed in the South at the state and local levels for about 100 years. Some of these Jim Crow laws overtly denied blacks the right to vote and, while they lasted into the mid- to late 1960s, arguably amounted to a much more serious threat to democracy than requiring voters to show a photo ID.

Such laws required poll tests and other obstacles for black voters before they could cast a ballot. The laws also restricted employment, housing, and educational opportunities for black Americans.

Schools, parks, recreation facilities, and other public buildings routinely were segregated throughout the South, as were public restrooms and water fountains. The Jim Crow era included terrorist activity by the Ku Klux Klan, a semi-secret society that committed violent and deadly acts against blacks, including lynchings, often with impunity.

Amid the supercharged and occasionally factually challenged rhetoric, the president declared, apparently to Republican lawmakers: “Have you no shame?”

He added, “We have to ask: Are you on the side of truth or lies, fact or fiction, justice or injustice, democracy or autocracy?”

It was a head-scratching comment, considering how many times Democrats have claimed Republicans are racist for including voter I.D. requirements in election reform bills, but Clyburn was adamant.



“I don’t know why you guys keep misrepresenting what I said,” Clyburn told Fox News host Neil Cavuto on Tuesday. “I have never said that you should not have voter ID. When I got my voter registration cards, I keep them in my wallet. And when I go to vote, I presented that every time. And I said to them, I am Jim Clyburn, this is my ID, and I want to vote. I have always had voter ID. And that’s why the representative earlier who voted … no Democrat has never been against voter ID.”

Washington Post fact checker Glenn Kessler began his column, which ultimately awarded Clyburn four pinocchios (the most one can be awarded for telling a lie), by saying the comments, on their face, seemed “absurd.”

The evidence-free claim that Capitol Police Officer Brian Sicknick died from injuries suffered in the Jan. 6 riot reemerged Tuesday during the first day of hearings in the Democratic-led House select committee's inquiry of the event.

Sicknick, 42, died the day after responding to the riot, which broke out as lawmakers counted electoral votes to affirm President Joe Biden’s victory over Donald Trump. In the days that followed, news outlets reported the 13-year veteran was beaten with a fire extinguisher, but the medical examiner concluded Sicknick suffered two strokes and that his death was from “natural” causes.

Still, committee Chairman Bennie Thompson, a Mississippi Democrat, said in his opening remarks that “seven people lost their lives” in the riot. The number would appear to include Sicknick, two officers who died by suicide in the following days, a protester shot by police, two protesters who suffered fatal heart attacks, and another who died of a suspected drug overdose.

"How Can Anyone Trust a Democrat?​

Evidence continues to prove time and again that we simply cannot trust a Democrat.

We have been told hundreds of times that election fraud did not happen. We were told that President Donald Trump was simply sharing fake news to undermine democracy in the United States. How dare anyone suggest that we need secure elections where only US citizens vote.

Continued evidence shows that there are multiple instances of voter fraud. There are only a few words that need to be said here: Arizona, Pennsylvania, Georgia. In each state, evidence has shown irregularities that could have changed the outcome of the election.


But again, Democrats tell us that we simply cannot believe that. We must believe that they have the best path forward.

These are only two of the countless examples that could be brought up. The mainstream media and radical social media platforms will suspend, block or even shadow ban someone for bringing up those things. They block the truth, in favor of their friends, the Democrats.
