Something wrong with the word "s ot?"

This is the kind of 'funny' that will translate into more mass shootings in America.

Do mass shooters normally provide warning shots?
Not in a literal sense, but their mannerisms, their preference for clothing, their preferred guns, and their behaviour with their guns, would send a message on their intent if anybody cared enough to take notice.

However, attempts to be proactive in stopping them is fraught with danger of infringing on 2A rights.

Still, there are some cautionary measures that could be applied. If anybody cares then I welcome their questions if the questions are with good intent.

Wow, prejudiced much?

Not really, it is really not that hard to do at all. Simply get them under the care of a mental health expert, have then have them judged in a court of law to be mentally incapable of exercising their right to own a firearm.

It really is not all that hard, but almost none ever want to take the actual legal step to have that done. The problem is that people on the Left start to scream whenever such things are brought up. Screaming personal privacy is the most important thing.

Which is the circular route to saying it's not only hard but has proven to be impossible so far!

All you've said is that the left is responsible for no action taken, and that's not of any interest to me as an outsider. Nothing I say can be effective if I stoop to America's political pissing match on the guns issue.

Not at all, actually. What do you think happens any time somebody is declared "insane" in a court trial? Same damned thing.

It happens thousands of times a year in other cases also. It's known as a mental competency hearing. But most seem to value the privacy of the patients more than the public at large.
