They can always hijack another airliner and fly it into a skyscraper. Rumor is that it`s been done before.

High jacking an airliner is not a likely thing at all. When was the last successful one pulled off? To pull that off, you have to give passengers hope that they will survive if only demands are met, and that's not likely anymore. Far more likely that any middle-eastern appearing group that attempts a high jack with knives would be taken out by passengers unwilling to become statistics.

Than Iran unleashed it's "volunteers" into Iraq and kicked off the "insurgency".
Once again USA leaders were loath to engage, take the war into Iran.
