His Holiness, The Dalai Lama, is quite correct, Religion is not the cause of violence. It is the egoes of those using religion to their own ends that cause the strife and violence that religions seem to be so prone to.

I would like to think all major religions denounce violence, only the people who interpret violence as the way are the un-holyist. When thier god, prophet, etc. etc. judges them, they will reap what they sow. I would like to believe in the good in people but these days I think thier giving into the wrong urges. Oh well theres always hope.
