DA Alvin Bragg Releases Migrant Taxi Driver Charged for Repeatedly Assaulting Female Passengers

Ideology. To Joey, all leftists are infallible. Anyone to the right of Saul Alinsky is a Nazi.

Wait what.

That's a lie. The issue was accusation constituting guilt, trial by lynch mob. (You, of course, SUPPORT that...as long as it's not your ox getting gored.)

None whatsoever. Joey is a Stalinist...he has wet dreams of murdering his opponents, staging show trials and witch hunts, and actually endorses HUMAN TRAFFICING. There is no depth to which he will not sink.
Do a search about willing rape victims and find the thread. It's an eye opener.

I don't know what the story was, and neither do you.

Thank you! You finally admitted it!

What I do now is a room full of career prosecutors looked at the case they had and decided they didn't want to put it in front of 12 jurors, because they'd probably think the same thing I did.

The driver was able to plead down to a lesser charge and the woman wasnt even made aware of it. I fact, the website if her lawyer says the woman was kept in the dark about various aspects of the case and had to chase down answers.

There was another alleged victim as well.

Braggs apparent soft in crime stance allowed this guy to plead down, and was allowed to start driving a cab again.

No, he was some poor schlub who got strangled in the middle of the street for accidentally passing off a fake bill.
No, he was a violent thug with a long crimnal record.

There's no obligation to inform victims on case progress.

Braggs apparent soft in crime stance allowed this guy to plead down, and was allowed to start driving a cab again.

No, what allowed him to plead down was it was a shit case.

For which he served his time.

You don't murder a man in the street for something he did 15 years earlier (which you didn't know about, anyway.)

This would seem to indicate they are entitled to be informed.

No, what allowed him to plead down was it was a shit case.

I dobt see that in any of the articles ive read. Do you have the publication from where you got that?

What made it a "shit case" was that the perp was a member of a socially friendly group to the left.

If the fellow who was suspected was a white, Judeo-Christian heterosexual, the case would have been pressed to the max.

Why, because some Shyster says so? I'm sure as long as she keeps paying them, they'll claim anything.

Case was plead down, because they didn't want to put Drunk Party Girl on the stand.

Actually, only 3% of rape cases see prison time, we've been over this. And this wasn't even a rape.

A law firm? Has to be a shyster huh? Smh....

And the second link, that shows the new york victim rights?

Case was plead down, because they didn't want to put Drunk Party Girl on the stand.

So you're assuming. Bragg has a history of soft on crime. This was just another example of that.

They couldn't have plead down because they didnt want to put a drunk girl on the stand because there was no evidence she was drunk, something that might have come out if they had a trial.

Never said it was rape, said it was sexual assault.

He gets 88% of his cases to plead out to some kind of punishment, I'd hardly call that soft. Soft would be dismissing everything.

This wasn't dismissed. It was plead down

2 AM. People aren't stupid. They'll draw their own conclusions.

2AM, probably a scrub woman cleaning up for a liberal's office, and going home for the night to her tenement.

Unfortunately, people inferring something doesnt prove anything. There have been many people who have spent nights out on the town and not drink a drop of alcohol.

You seem to forget how our legal system works. It's not the job of the Cabbie to prove he's innocent, it's the job of the prosecutor to prove he's guilty.

And if a jury might infer she was shitfaced drunk at 2 AM makes that a much higher hill to climb.

Why would a jury infer that?

The victim is entitled to a presumption of innocence.

The liberal concept that broads "deserve" to be raped if they have a few adult beverages has to be done away with
