D.C. Homeless Encampments Get Bulldozed

Ah, so the real inhumane, nasty **** speaks the truth fer a change, so much fer the caring, compassionate conservative party of God.
Well, if you're not offering your home or being the good Samaritan, then neither are you.

by the way: this thread included a strange line of rhetoric. Tranny comic books.

Despite the denial of the existence of tranny comics, it turns out a quick search shows that they do exist:

The chronically homeless for the most part cannot be helped. Have housing where they cannot get drunk or drugged out and they will leave.

They will destroy their surroundings, they will rip wiring out of the walls to sell for scrap. They will rip up up the carpets. They will attack each other.

It's been tried.

Since I was the denier, I'll clarify. I never claimed they didn't exist, I only claimed that USAID did not fund them:
Reports surfaced in early 2025 claiming that the U.S. Agency for International Development (USAID) provided a grant to fund a "transgender comic book" in Peru. However, these claims have been debunked as false.
The U.S. Department of State's Diplomatic and Consular Programs, not USAID, awarded a $32,000 grant between 2022 and 2023 to help fund the second issue of a Peruvian comic book series titled "El Poder de La Educación" ("The Power of Education"). The grant's purpose was to create a comic featuring an LGBTQ+ hero addressing social and mental health issues, presented in connection with a student cultural exchange program. The second issue featured a gay protagonist, but there were no transgender characters in that or the other two issues of the series.
While USAID is a strong advocate for advancing the human rights of LGBTQI+ individuals globally and has implemented policies to promote inclusivity in its programs, the specific claim of funding a transgender comic book in Peru is incorrect.

Denial.

There is nobody, and I mean NOBODY with a drug or alcohol problem who intended to have one or expected to have one. And not all homeless with mental problems are addicted. Most data I've seen comes up with about 1/3 of the homeless are addicted to something.

Having had formal training to deal with the addicted and their families, I no doubt have less prejudice and more compassion with those afflicted. Do they HAVE to commit a serious crime before being committed? As for the otherwise mentally ill, I also have considerable compassion. It just isn't in me to send people off to die when they have lost control over their minds and bodies.
Yes another criminal defender who has “formal training” in crying over illegals, criminals and squatters . Many people have pre concerns about their potential alcoholism or drug addiction so your training is fiction

Like that's an excuse.

I once gave a seminar to single teen mothers on getting child support from the fathers. If they knew who the father was. There were probably 30 girls there from 12 to 17.

Not a single girl thought the father should pay anything. The government should pay and give them housing, food, a car and a clothing allowance. They felt it was unfair to the men to blame them for the pregnancy.
Shirking responsibility on behalf of the irresponsible male so it’s no wonder the wandering nomad gets reinforced

Show me a single person who expected to be without a job, who expected relationships to be destroyed, who expected other terrible problems in his/her life. Who didn't believe he/she could fix any problem himself/herself.

Show me a single person who expected to be homeless and incapacitated because of his/her addiction.

You don't know me, don't know who and what I am, what I have been trained in, what I know, what I have experienced. And you obviously don't know much about addiction.

Only endless resources behind the scenes and expansive Progressive Socialist Communist propaganda fueling the citizens would get us to where we are.

Expectation don’t make it happen
Execution does
You are the excuse maker that put so many on the lazy road

Okay. I understand that you insist that I suck, am totally ignorant about everything, have no credentials or experience whatsoever, and am responsible for everything terrible that happens in the world where you are all wise, informed, never wrong about anything.

Can we move on now?
