Who gives a shit how many people watched the inauguration? Except the real problem is the media deliberately misrepresented the facts to paint the picture they wanted to. Sean Spicer took zero questions but more importantly set the tone for ZERO TOLERANCE for media misrepresentation. He is demanding they do their fucking job and be balanced and accurate. BRAVO!

Same issue with reporting that the MLK bust was removed from the oval office. Clearly a blatant attempt to "prove" Trump is a Racist. And again it was a total LIE. Have you seen a retraction or apology? Neither have I. And yes it is a big deal because you already have an emotionally charged group fired up by the media demagoguery of Trump.

Yes, I just heard that talking point from Reince Priebus on with Chris Wallace too. Good point. But I noticed that Mr. Priebus had no answer when Mr. Wallace asked him why the same standard shouldn't apply to President Trump's untruth about how the media created the rift between the intelligence community and the new President. In fact, Mr. Priebus sort of spluttered at that point.

Maybe we don't have subscriptions to Time? That is where it was picked up, and then retracted.

At 7:30 p.m., reporter Zeke Miller wrote a pool report saying, "The MLK bust was no longer on display."

Once Miller realized his error, an update was sent to the pool. "The MLK bust remains in the Oval Office, in addition to the Churchill bust, per a WH aide. It was apparently obscured by a door and an agent during the spray. Your pool offers sincerest apologies."

Miller also corrected the error on Twitter, and Time magazine corrected its story based on his report.

"Correction: An earlier version of the story said that a bust of Martin Luther King had been moved. It is still in the Oval Office," it reads.

His retraction was too late, and the story never should have happened to begin with. It had spread just about everywhere by the time they posted their retraction.
And retractions usually end up as blip on a back page where few will see it.

We are witnessing a fake OP that attempts to deflect the truth - huge crowds opposing Trump - to saying the media did not get it right to the last person.

It's about an insecure little boy in a orange old body.

Well, the question was asked, so I just wanted to let you know there was a retraction in several forums.

Crowd numbers truly do not matter, agree!

When the new press secretary comes out and blatantly lies for the president the first 24 hours in office then, HOUSTON, WE HAVE A PROBLEM.

You want to let him get away with this ORWELLIAN SPEAK, and THAT is more frightening than the lies Trump puts out daily.

The press is on notice. There is zero tolerance for media lies. Not even for the smallest thing.

Indeed. So when they report on Hillary having a stroke or Obama being born in Kenya or there being a "stand down" order in Benghazi, we should hold them accountable.

What do you care about a MLK bust and Trump. A guy who says this is a hater:

Some Mexicans don't rape.

agree...
but the same with ALL of the Trump lies, there is zero tolerance for Trump lies. Not even for the smallest thing!

and that's how it should be!

Did ewe know the first thing the Trump administration did was remove the MLK bust? Isn't that fucking outrageous? Oops.......

True. Trump has let it be known in no uncertain terms that if the press doesn't stop being so mean, he will hold his breath until he turns blue and Tweet them all to death! I think that he made himself clear on that while whining in from of the dead CIA operatives memorial. If that doesn't get their attention, he will lie on top of the Tomb of the Unknown soldier, and pound his fists on the stone while kicking his legs....
