Let's hope this guy gets his right to run for public office back. Kicking him off the ballot was obviously a legal error. He shouldn't have to go all the way to the Supreme Court to get his rights back.

He should when the constitution clearly states only congress can make the final decision on his eligibility….they’ve said nothing.

well if this was a state position then its obvious it is different than the Trump case as he was seeking a federal office.

So it boils down to can the state remove someone from a state level position for insurrection and that might depend on what the state law says.
