There are people in this world who you cannot teach them finance. I've worked with people having no clue what a 401K is when they have been working with the company for 15-20 years. When I asked why don't you open one, I get deer in the headlight look. These people also have no investments aside from a savings account. When I told them you are losing money by having a savings account because of inflation, they look at me as if I am speaking Klingon.
