That's how I know that a tiny percentage of Americans are informed by all those sources added together. Do the math yourself. On the one day you cited, fewer than 5 million voters total were watching Fox, CNN, and MSNBC combined. There are more than 330 million Americans.

Ever since the cultural revolution of the 60's, those leaning left have been gravitating toward careers in media, education, scientific institutions, big business, entertainment, government, religion, and those in turn mentored like minded protogys and interns so that the leftism became more and more entrenched and pushed further left and became further extreme until it now seems to millions to be the cultural norm.

As a result no one born after Gen X has ever experienced what the WWII and Boomers would consider 'normal.' To the younger people now coming of age and beginning to vote, they have never heard that the Founders ever did anything good or significant, but they were all greedy slave owners. They've never been taught that the South had real grievances that had nothing to do with slavery but think they were all evil anti-Americans who fought to keep people slaves. They have never been taught anything other than Keynesian and socialist economics. Because we no longer have a 4th Estate, they know nothing of what was accomplished via tax reform, reduced regulation, a secure border, free trade infused with fairness etc.

They've never been taught that climate has been changing and changing dramatically long before the Industrial Revolution and they have always been taught that AGW is the worst threat humankind has ever faced. They are conditioned to believe migrants over running the border is normal, that it is normal and righteous to change pronouns that don't fit the 'woke' theology, that if you don't like your gender, change it, and if it wasn't for evil narrow minded bigoted racist Republicans and MAGAs there would be no war, no poverty, no suffering.

Our culture, our institutions, our language, and our vote is beginning to reflect all of that.

And I honestly don't know if there are enough people left who know our real history, who have studied real economics, etc. to turn it around.

Too many people like to think they aren't gullible or just sheeple following the crowd. They desperately want justification for what they think and believe when they in fact are just caught up in the mob mentality or get excited about a particular momentum.

But when neither the media nor education nor scientific institutions or even some religious groups teach or encourage critical thinking, too many are totally dependent on what they are told and do not question it or think it through. They will not see the truth no matter how many facts are presented to them.

And when the leaders have led wrongly, but are able to control the message and blame anything and everything but themselves, the people who don't know our history or have been encouraged to reject it, aren't taught and encouraged to think critically and question and look for the truth of things, have no way of knowing how terribly they have been had. They truly are sheeple at the mercy of those who rule them.

Since one especially non critical thinking person made it an issue on this thread, let's consider the accusation that Trump said Mexicans are rapists. Now honorable people put things into their full context and don't try to infer something was said that was not said and don't leave out the context that clearly defines what was actually said/intended.

Trump, speaking extemporaneously, was clearly indicating that the Mexicans illegally crossing the border were not the brightest and best Mexico has to offer. We were getting some of the worst of their worst bringing lots of problems, drugs and crime. In this context he said "They're rapists" immediately followed by the qualifier "And some, I assume, are good people."

There is NOTHING in the statement that is untrue in any way. The Border Patrol has confirmed it many many times as does the criminal record. The full statement:

""When Mexico sends its people, they're not sending their best. They're not sending you. They're not sending you. They're sending people that have lots of problems, and they're bringing those problems with us. They're bringing drugs. They're bringing crime. They're rapists. And some, I assume, are good people. But I speak to border guards and they tell us what we're getting. And it only makes common sense. It only makes common sense. They're sending us not the right people.” – Donald J. Trump in his Presidential announcement speech.

Any person capable of critical thinking will hear or read that and know exactly what he was saying and knows with no doubt whatsoever he was not accusing all Mexicans of being rapists.

The dishonorable and dishonest however take that one short sentence of out context and dishonestly accuse him of saying all Mexicans are rapists. That kind of thing is what a dishonorable and dishonest MSM does and its sheeple dutifully parrot it over and over and over.

Anybody, MSM, Democrats, socialists, leftists, Republicans, Patriots etc. etc. etc. who do that are either:
--deliberately lying
--repeating a lie they've been taught or conditioned to believe is true
--just being sheeple dutifully repeating what they are told to say

It is the way bad or dishonorable people control the message. And it is evil.

I do not want to believe this. Reading literature over it for decades when I was a lot younger, it is happening. The real pain is that men and women who broke their backs in employment and not privileged have been thrown to the wayside.
