While Maui burns, Canada burns, and a hurricane approaches California, conservatives plan is to stop the fight against climate change if Trump wins in 2024:

Called Project 2025, it would block the expansion of the electrical grid for wind and solar energy; slash funding for the Environmental Protection Agency’s environmental justice office; shutter the Energy Department’s renewable energy offices; prevent states from adopting California’s car pollution standards; and delegate more regulation of polluting industries to Republican state officials.

If enacted, it could decimate the federal government’s climate work, stymie the transition to clean energy and shift agencies toward nurturing the fossil fuel industry rather than regulating it. It’s designed to be implemented on the first day of a Republican presidency.”

no one is stopping environmentalists who are freaked out over the global warming DOOMSDAY HOAX From building as many windmills as they want with their own money

None of the examples provided by the liberal OP have anything to do with alleged man made global warming. Nothing those clowns have ever suggested would in anyway have altered those events.

Good. If greens really care about reducing CO2, they should support reliable nuclear power.

How many new reactors do you think we should build?

WHY? What's the reason for war against some kind of sensible balance?

With wildfires ravaging West Maui on Aug. 8, a state water official delayed the release of water that landowners wanted to help protect their property from fires. The water standoff played out over much of the day and the water didn’t come until too late.

The official who has been accused of withholding water from firefighters during a critical point in the Maui wildfire was previously named a “leader” by the Obama Foundation in 2019.

What a surprise.

From your left-leaning article:

Most of these are good outcomes .. what's the problem? I'd question the expansion of the electrical grid for wind and solar, as Texas, a red state, is the leader of producing renewable energy in the United States. What proof does Politico have on this when 5 red states are in the top 10 with the production of renewable energy? In addition, 6 of the bottom 10 states produce the least amount of renewable energy.

Hello, global warming denier.
Is it global warming now? cooling? climate change? [insert new description here]?

Most don't deny there is another warming cycle present .. just the hysteria and scare tactics from climate change advocates that the end of the earth and mankind are near, and the opportunity for politicians to gain even more power over the sheeple who dare deny it.

There’s no such thing as environmental justice therefore there’s no need and never was have a department for it.

It was 48 degrees in Pennsylvania this morning. We’ve had highs in the low seventies this month. It’s August, should be lows in the seventies and highs in the nineties.
